Why do they think anyone would care about this

Marsh. 20-02-2018 09:51 PM

I think it's apparent John Yorke is definitely not properly actively involved with the show. He's just keeping it ticking over. He can't do this full time as well as Red Rock.

Either that or Oliver Kent has too much input.

Either that or EastEnders is unsalvageable by anyone and has had its day.

Next week's storyline is Hunter having a huff with Mel because she's caught flirting with Jack and Aidan threatening the Carters again so not much improvement coming

Ross. 20-02-2018 09:53 PM

It’s bizarre because the cast is reasonably strong but there’s literally nothing interesting going on

Firewire 20-02-2018 09:53 PM

Yeah it's clear John Yorke isn't involved

Firewire 20-02-2018 09:53 PM

He's only doing the hiring and firing I think

Marsh. 20-02-2018 09:53 PM

I don't get it. Ciara has her money back (minus what Sharon spent and all of the jewellery Ben handed out like candy and she also forgot that she told Sharon she would pay for stealing from her) so what is Aidan still hanging around for?

Smithy 20-02-2018 09:54 PM

There’ll be another shock death soon enough to try and make the show seem interesting again

It's depressing how much this show kills itself.

Does he know what happened to the money

Ross. 20-02-2018 09:56 PM

This show was on such a high this time 3 years ago and tonight they put out that mess :skull:

Marsh. 20-02-2018 09:57 PM

It's baffling. They have all of the pieces in place, and the audience can practically smell the brilliant storylines waiting to be told.... then they make an episode about Magic Marv. WHAT GIVES!!!!

Firewire 20-02-2018 09:58 PM

MESS at that basically being the anniversary episode

I don’t really watch anymore but apparently Casualty and Holby have been a lot better since Oliver Kent left to his new job

Not EastEnders being sacrificed for them

Marsh. 20-02-2018 09:59 PM

Its like when everyone clocked Kieran Roberts was the problem with Corrie and not the ever-changing producers.

Amy Jade 20-02-2018 09:59 PM

Yeah tonight was tragic.

Nothing worked. Martin was horrific and it's kinda odd they're trying to make him look bad when Stacey is the one who cheated and ran off with his kid.

Kim and Vincent's money worries are blah, like who cares. There are already poverty storylines going on with Karen and her struggling is much more convincing.

The Bernadette hanging out with Ted is just weird. I don't know if it's mean to come across that way but I find him incredibly creepy with her. Letting her tend to his garden instead of school...

Then there is a storyline for Tina. She should have been axed ages ago and Zsa Zsa cones back for her funeral and sticks around.

Casualty's kinda poor because of the cast exits but it's been a lot more watchable recently than it has been

Ross. 20-02-2018 10:00 PM

Stacey has been ruined

Firewire 20-02-2018 10:01 PM

The fact they're teasing Kush and Stacey again... LORD.

Kinda, she's in it every second/third episode at the moment. Her presence is missed.

I like Tina.

Like Honey, she's criminally underused and never given a proper storyline.

Re: Bernadette not being in school, I think she was suspended for taking the blame for smashing up the teacher's car.
