Its the comedy which makes corrie what it is, without the comedy its just some other dull soap.

Thats good for Corrie but EE should be able to have their style too without people always saying doom and gloom etc. It's like some people expect EE to be like CS thank God they're different lol;).

I agree, I'm glad Emmerdale and Corrie are different, otherwise it would be boring

I watched EE for about 15 years from the start.
But I found stroylines were too much for me. (my age, ha ha)
But now Corries are like that. I think it may be because, Corrie has to atract young viewers otherwise,,,

I do not mind really but it will be a treat if they give us humorous bits now and again. :blush2:

25 years ago was Corrie's 25th year (on 9th Dec obvs xD)

Nah, K.C. said they aint doing a live episode :p there will be a 'big event' on the street, though it isnt decided what it will be, I think K.C. said the episode will be dramatic but also with light hearted moments, the episode will be 9th December

Aw that's a shame, you'd think if they did it for their 40th they'd do it for their 50th.

Sounds good though, hopefully they'll do something good. I love special episodes of soaps :D
