Actually the PM has every right to deny it and he will do and hopefully make Scotland suffer for it

Imagine wanting a Prime Minister to make a part of their country suffer because they disagree with him, jfc.

I’m willing to see what Boris tries to deliver, I’ll be ecstatic to finally see the back of this Brexit nonsense, he’s going to be a disaster for normal, working class people, like Tories always have been, but with Brexit out of the way, it’ll make room for actual policies to take centre stage and shape the future of the next election, just going to have to wait and see what sort of damage they do, nothing that can be done about it yet.

The thing is he wont "get brexit done" in 11 months so that was a lie and we will leave without a trade deal after transition is over. So brexit will impact things negatively. Unless he asks for extension which would make his current promise that he won't another lie.

No I’m fully with you on that, I can’t wait for the backlash when he delivers on his main promise and everyone sees that it’s not as simple as him and his cronies made out.

what people haven't grasped yet is that brexit will be done when boris says its done. People are acting like parliament still has some say on what happens, it doesn't. If Boris wants to end the transition in February, he will, and that will be that

The Slim Reaper 13-12-2019 01:13 PM

Labour supporters are disappointed that we're not able to properly fund the NHS or end austerity.

Tory supporters are happy they get to stick it to people. The absolute most stark and damning differences between the parties and the country.

Sadly, I agree with that and it is awful to witness.

Let him. He will pay the price next time.
Atm even going for no deal after transition looks worse than normal bc WTO does not have a functioning adjudication body in case of trade disputes. The reason? Trump, bojo's buddy, blocked the new appointments.

These are not games.
It was agreed by uk government a new ref will be granted if circumstances change. You cant deny brexit is such a change so Nicola has a point wanting a new ref.

She wants a referendum while still being fed by the UK.

Me personally I'd give it to them but pull everything not scottish out of scotland put up a hard border with very strict immigration rules and make them pay a divorce bill.

what a sour grapes response and its just your summary and is so massively subjective and insulting it beggars belief

"tory supporters" "labour supporters"

yes lets just create two groups and make up some "facts" to smear one set and paint the others out as saints

It would make sense if thousands and thousands of life long labour supporters didnt vote the tories but the fact is they did because they could trust their own party

It's not, look at posters in this thread. I had you telling me I don't understand people, Adam trying his best to offend everyone, and I'm sour grapes? First post I made today was about how I misjudged the electorate.

There is no tory optimism that stretches a millimeter past #getbrexitdone.

Good luck with that one Boris; Scotland hasn't healed from the last IndyRef and it was 5 years ago. Brexit is 10x worse and the rift in the UK isn't going to heal for generations.
