At my auntie's 80th birthday yesterday, my sister-in-law told us that Royal Mail had been authorised to withhold cards and just concentrate on packages. Can this be true or was she joking?

I've received no cards, just bills recently!!!

They have been prioratising (thats so not spelt right is it??) packages yes. I sent one to my best mate and they told us so at the PO
