It might have faced competition from a football match but that's still a shocking rating for an eviction night.

JohnnyBB 06-07-2014 11:50 AM

More bad news for bb ratings for Saturday night 879k exc +1

Even worser news for bots 332k exc +1

Yaki da 06-07-2014 11:54 AM

And they're possibly going to be losing the person topping the popularity polls next week as well?

Crazy.

Thats not how the show works
You might be better suited to towie

Jamesy 06-07-2014 11:58 AM

Ouch. Not a surprising rating though, given the shows have barely scrapped 1 million in the week and Saturdays are always dead.

If BB gets renewed I can see BOTS being scrapped. It's getting bugger all viewers and it must cost them a bit to get these guests in every night of the week.

Rob! 06-07-2014 12:00 PM

I might stop coming in here. The facts are too depressing. :(

Of course it is. It's why they wont take away Helen's free pass. They know having lost popular housemates, they can't lose the person they've built the show around. They've done this many times in the past.

World cup: The Netherlands - Costa Rica: 7.70m/42.8%

Will. 06-07-2014 12:18 PM

Maybe they should just have a 90 mins BB each night, and the last half an hour is like BBOTS were they discuss the show, instead of having BBOTS as a separate show. Plus BBBOTS is on to late, if it was 11-11:30 I would stay up, but 11-12 is too long and late.

JohnnyBB 06-07-2014 12:19 PM

Producers will have to have angels fly out there ass to make this armaggedon week work.

90 minute highlight shows wouldn't work. Maybe if it was 90 minutes every two days, so Monday showing highlights from Saturday and Sunday or something.

So you're proposing a 2 hour show every night? For a start, the ratings would go down even more because nobody is going to watch 2 hours of BB every night. Secondly, there is a 500k ish drop off for BOTS, so that would bring the last half an hour down in the averages so it would be a disaster.

I mean that we get an hour highlights and then the last half an hour is BBOTS. But the actual highlights would only last an hour. Or maybe just have BBOTS Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

No I said have 30 mins BBOTS, not for an hour.

I just cant even comprehend how you have no respect for the show but show so much desire for some little tramp to do well on it
Byebye

I'm just hoping that the bad ratings mean that the producers might change direction, but they are probably hoping that the whole Armageddon thing will help.

billy123 06-07-2014 12:28 PM

It will be a million once the +1 is added not good but i was interested to hear sweaty box Ian on bots say suggestions please we will listen.
The shame is dont think they have any interest in the one thing that we want to see that would improve the ratings

Will. 06-07-2014 12:32 PM

I dont like Ian on BBOTS neither Luisa. But Luisa will be gone in 5 weeks just like Carol left BBOTS after CBB 13.

If they had decided that people nominate and the two or more with the most nominations were up and it was a vote to evict from the start, then I would think it was wrong. But they've manipulated the entire series this year. This is just their latest act of manipulation. They've made the decision to do it because they like what the result will be.

I just wonder how on earth they think that result can be a positive one for the show given her status as a big favourite with some viewers.

With +1 it will be around 1m, average Sat rating. I don't see the big deal, it's an average Ch5 BB Sat rating.

Lowest in the history of BB on a Sat according to someone on DS. I don't know if that's true.

I can guarantee that is not true. Even excluding +1 it's not true. With +1 it would have even beaten the first Sat of this series, maybe even the 2nd.

Big Brother Xtra @BigBrotherXtra · 41m

879k tuned in for Last night's Big Brother and 332k for Psych! That has to be the lowest ever?

We've just spoken about this. It's far from the lowest. With +1 it will be around 1m, even excluding +1 it's not the lowest Sat. Also certainly not the lowest ever either, that goes to BB13 with 650k and 450k.

Brother Leon 06-07-2014 01:28 PM

I didn't watch it last night due to watching my beloved Dutch. Will watch it on Demand.
