White Chicks - The quotes in this movie never get old :p

The Ipcress File.

It hasn't aged particularly well and the plot itself is a little convoluted, but the whole thing is a nice alternative to the over-the-top espionage adventures of Bond and Caine is great as Harry Palmer.

The Life of David Gale. Very good film I thought, I love most Kevin Spacey films though!

setanta 20-04-2010 10:37 AM

Deathtrap. Great fun.

GypsyGoth 20-04-2010 11:13 AM

The Great Debaters, pretty good. A sorta inspiring movie.

Knowing.

Without spoiling it for you - it was good until the reasoning was made clear. Great effects and disaster scenes ruined by ridiculous messages.

Yeah, but still a whole lot better than I had been expecting and you have to give them credit for going with such a non-commercial ending.

Shaun 21-04-2010 03:15 PM

What would the commercial ending have been? I think the ending they used was the most ridiculous one they could have.

Sleuth (1972)

Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine acting with each other and nobody else for 2 hours = bliss.

Gemmer-x 21-04-2010 10:24 PM

Cemetary junction. I like, pretty funny.

teamandre 22-04-2010 11:16 AM

The original.

IheartBB 22-04-2010 08:27 PM

Repo Men... not sure why.

setanta 23-04-2010 08:34 PM

Thunderheart. Hadn't seen it in years. Such a terrific little thriller.

Shaun 23-04-2010 09:52 PM

The Cable Guy

Genuinely quite scary. I can't understand why it's got such poor reviews...unless they were expecting an Ace Ventura/Mask kinda Carrey. But pfft, it was great.

The Holiday.

Never fails to make me cry, such an amazing film.
