Oh absolutely, I'm really pleased they didn't go with the whole killing her off story.

I did love her exit so much and I was hoping she would finish Gail in final minutes
...:D

Scarlett. 27-09-2010 11:33 PM

I loved the fact that we didn't know how she would leave too, I hope Tasha returns one day

Callum 27-09-2010 11:59 PM

^ Yeah me too, really good character with lots of potential. It's a shame she only started becoming a proper character in her own right this year though.

Will they be using a real tram to use among the rubble after the tram crash?

Scarlett. 28-09-2010 12:18 AM

Yep they will :]

Marsh. 28-09-2010 01:17 AM

A simple effects shot of the tram riding past the bridge doesn't look realistic so god knows how cheesy this crash is gonna look. Expecting lots of terrible greenscreen stuff.

I'm going to get back in Coronation for this, but what I don't understand is how the tram is going to go down the street, if it does. From the pictures the tram travels horizontally going either towards the post office or Dev's shop. Now, if there is a collapse in the track then won't it just go into the post office or Dev's shop?

Trams don't go that fast do they? A train travels really fast compared to a tram. There won't be enough force for the tram to go travelling right down the street.

I'm even struggling to see how it will go into Dev's shop or the post office. With the height of the tram tracks above Dev's shop and the post office, if it was to do anything then it will probably go over the top of the shop or post office, or maybe scrape the edge of the building?

Looking at the way the tracks run across the back of Coronation Street and not through it, then I don't see how this is going to work.

It is hard trying to say what I mean. :s

Spoiler:

The Joinery (the building below) explodes, which brings the viaduct crashing down, which then sends the tram crashing off

08marsh, last nights tram was done in house by ITV's cgi team (they're not the most experienced) where as the big crash will be done by the Mill who did special effects for Dr. Who and Gladiator

Niamh. 28-09-2010 11:37 AM

Natasha kicked some ass last night!! Gail deserved to be fired for that too!

BigSister 28-09-2010 12:08 PM

Yay Natasha didnt die although her story reminded me oo much of Glee the whole faking the baby thing then stealing fizs sonogram
Loving Sophie/Sian though

joeysteele 28-09-2010 12:37 PM

Really glad Gail got fired,I know its only a soap but she had to at least lose her job, even in soaps people cannot be seen to get away with divulging patients medical details to anyone WITHOUT the persons permission.
Even husbands and wives often don't tell each other their medical problems and if they don't even the Doctor cannot without their permission, so Gail was on a very sticky wicket indeed.

Rumours she is going to become an alcoholic?

I'm so out of sync with it all at the minute.

Thanks for the Chewy. I didn't know that.
