I'm quite glad it's flopping & that people are choosing not to watch this terrible show, I'm not suprised it's losing viewers like wildfire - If it's back next year they might actually try this time from seeing that people are not happy

It's actually completely static from Week 1. It hasn't lost viewers at all in general.

Yaki da 06-07-2014 01:47 PM

It's certainly a flop after last years success. They didn't build on that at all

billy123 06-07-2014 02:07 PM

Their seems a sudden increase of interest in knocking the ratings from a certain section of forum users why is that i wonder?

Rob! 06-07-2014 02:18 PM

Officials tomorrow - that should lighten things up a bit.

Yep I'm hoping they'll renew it and realise they have to change a lot of things to make the show better again (VTS, better housemates, less twists etc.)

Because this series doesn't deserve good ratings? It's been terrible so far and why should people watch it/want it to do well when there's no likeable people left.

Goonieboy 06-07-2014 02:47 PM

When Ashleigh inevitably leaves I hope it drops even further.

Samm 06-07-2014 03:01 PM

Don't care about Saturdays they always rate low

*mazedsalv** 07-07-2014 09:29 AM

BBspy has updated their ratings table.

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/bb15/ratings/overnight

If you click on the official link, I think it's interesting that almost half are higher than last years equivalent despite the overnights overwhelmingly being less than BB14. (Red means it's less, green means its higher than last years same episode).

Jemal 07-07-2014 10:01 AM

1.1m not sure if its +1

*mazedsalv** 07-07-2014 10:22 AM

1.02m with 128k on +1= 1.15m including +1

JohnnyBB 07-07-2014 10:37 AM

It's up 50k on last Sunday which is good considering people expected that huge mass turn off after Friday.

Jemal 07-07-2014 10:49 AM

Around 1.4-1.5m, but I'm just looking at compared to the series and see if it can beat last week. If it stays stable this week, hopefully the twist next Monday will help increase them.

mrmattybeck1 07-07-2014 01:09 PM

Stop making excuses terrible rating

Kai Anders 07-07-2014 01:21 PM

Official ratings are in.. Of the 26 days currently published, 6 have increased in ratings compared to last years. The series current official rating stands at 1.58 million.

WEEK 1 (starting THURSDAY

2.43m
1.88m
1.46m (SATURDAY)
1.92m
1.61m
1.71m
1.56m

WEEK 2

1.37m
1.37m
1.16m (SATURDAY)
1.63m
1.67m
1.49m

WEEK 3

1.65m
1.52m
1.29m (SATURDAY)
1.58m
1.67m
1.61m
1.54m

WEEK 4

1.69m
1.50m
1.27m (SATURDAY)
1.55m

WEEK 1 RUNNING AVERAGE - 1.64m
WEEK 2 RUNNING AVERAGE - 1.61m
WEEK 3 RUNNING AVERAGE - 1.52m
WEEK 4 RUNNING AVERAGE - 1.50m

Ratings seem pretty fair and are just below par with the first two Channel 5 series, despite the bad press! And across the four weeks, only an average drop of 140K which seems fair, considered the bad press surrounding this series.

Thanks to BBspy for providing the details (I thought I'd let you lot see them in case you're not aware of who he is, which if not why not, amazing sources!)

The press have nothing to do with the ratings and ive not really seen any bad press regarding the ratings in any of the online newspapers.

Its official.

Big Brother: Power Trip is now officially rating lower than BB12 and will no doubt be the least watched of any series.

Its Channel 5's BB4.

I wasn't talking actual press.. In fact there's been near no newspaper/ magazine press compared with the previous series.. I was simply stating the press through twitter and Facebook and word of mouth.

And yes.. The show probably will be the lowest, I wasn't denying that anywhere in the post?

Theres been a fair lot of articles in online newspapers, it hasn't decreased that much at all and is still in the regular rag mags and front page daily star most days.

Twitter and Facebook are not press.

daniel-lewis-1985 07-07-2014 01:49 PM

After last nights terrible Christmas episode which I almost switched off as i felt like I was watching CBBC lets hope more people don't turn off.

11 years ago in BB4 (bore) there was also an episode where the house was turned into Christmas time, with Christmas songs, presents and turkey.

Watching Christmas stuff in summer just feels depressing, also Family Guy aired their Christmas episode, I was not amused lol.

I would consider reputable sites and pages as press. But that's my opinion and many others too, that's not the point of this thread now. Onwards with ratings speak!

Its in all the usual press that it allways is so press has nothing to do with it.

So yeah on with the ratings.
