The people already voting tory, in spite of child poverty, homelessness, attacks on the disabled and poor, and cuts to the nhs, aren't going to be bothered that a few foreign-looking folks are going to be discriminated against. It's a bonus.

That does make them ex anything, it's a suspension of duties that's all. The work done on these documents is as valid during the election period as prior.

It shouldn’t be a thing though, that so many people here the Prime Minister possibly say something extremely racist and go ‘yeah, sounds about right’ whether it’s a mistake or not, it’s severely depressing

That's not how all voters make a decision though. If anyone voting "for themselves" thinks that these issues have no chance of affecting them or their families, then they're mistaken.

What’s ‘out of context’ about a Tory mp saying people with special needs should be payed less because they ‘don’t understand money’ or because they ‘get their happiness from working’?

There’s nothing out of context about it, it’s pure ableist bile and as an uncle to two special needs nephews, I find it utterly abhorrent that people think that way.

Are you actually saying you want a world where everyone just thinks like you?

if she heard half the stuff you post I am sure he would have a similar opinion about you

Somehow you seem to think you are right and that gives you a right to hate on her ?

Ah, can’t attack the words so you get personal, typical right wing tactic there LT :hee:

Do I think she’s wrong that she thinks special needs people should be treated differently (worse) to everyone else, by taking advantage of their special needs? Yes I do and I’m proud to stand by that opinion, but you do you.

It's not the article in discussion...it's her comments. It's not your job to pontificate on how Liam reacts to those comments.
