Does that somewhat make your comments relating to Gaga's video 'no copying' invalid then? I for one have watched many videos and know that it was a copy.

No,it doesnt. She blatently hasn't copied Madonna, all you need to do is look at her style, who has she copied by wearing a lobster on her head, or coke cans as rollers?
She not the sort of person to use other peoples ideas.

Lobster on her head is to keep her in the limelight. If she didnt do all those things then she would be gone quicker then you can say ''Rah-rah-ah-ah-ah-ah!''

Firewire 19-03-2010 09:21 PM

Harry you do know that she copied for a reason. It was to symbolise things which have happened. ie. the Michael Jackson moves (to tribute him). Pussy Wagon (from Kill Bill). etc.

No she wouldnt, she has had a platinum selling album, after only 14 months! the biggest single of 2009 and a video just which is almost at thrillers standard.

Stu 19-03-2010 09:23 PM

Harry using the new queen of pop as a launching pad to plug ol' Madge.

Jesus. Just give it up already. As much as I hate her she isn't copying anyone.

No outfits and crazy things then she would of not sold as much regardless of her vocals (Of which she has a good voice I must admit).

tbh, in the Poker Face video she wears pretty toned down clothes compared to what she does now. And to get it as Number 1 in more than 20 countries has to do with the quality of the song, (which she wrote) and the vocals. The clothes etc are obviously going to raise awareness of her, but not necessarily boost sales.

She is for now. I'm talking about the present.

Even I'm not dumb enough to deny her that. She is the biggest thing in pop at the moment. Bar none.

Controversy creates cash...? Mad outfits create sales...

Stu 19-03-2010 09:31 PM

She writes great pop tunes. If you think it's all about the costumes, you really do need help.

Yep.
She's huge and will be, she herself has said she will always continue to make music.
Can you think of one person who has had all this sucess then failed?

Yes, but only because they like her voice, not really because of the outfit.
