Anyway... I was really surprised when I found this out, dunno why.

I'm a big fan of his solo work but I don't really get too attached to many artists as people, it's mainly about the music for me. So it won't really change my opinion of him music wise.

to be fair, no-one's perfect.
as someone's already pointed out, there's good and bad points to everyone.
If you remain a fan, which I think you should because you're so committed anyway.. you'll need to accept Mark's not perfect. No-one is.

I think MrGaryy summed it up in a thread a few weeks ago when he said that a good fan should be able to realize and respect both the good and the bad.

But I always go on about I would forgive the boys if any of them cheating cos half the reason I like them so much is because they're nice guys. And for my favourite member turning out to a cheating asshole,well I just can't forgive him like nothing's happened. I feel so so so so sorry for Emma and the kids :(

You lot are total hypocrites. If anybody else was to admit crying over a band they don't know personally, you lot would rip them to shreds. But because Laura is such a devoted, obsessive fan and a mod, that's okay?

Bloody hell, get a grip. Yes it's sad that he's cheated. He's a scumbag, but that is his personal life. It shouldn't affect what you think of the music.

I don't understand this mentality, AT ALL.
