Exit poll: Hung parliament. Conservatives largest party

Questions over its accuracy because of the nature of this elections. We will soon see if it's right when the results come in

arista 06-05-2010 09:02 PM

307 Consersatives
255 New Labour
59 LibDem
29 Others

Callum 06-05-2010 09:03 PM

ITV best coverage imo

YESSSSSS! Come on Conservatives!

Spike 06-05-2010 09:04 PM

I'm not trusting that exit poll. The Lib Dems down in seats just doesn't sound right to me. I do expect the Conservatives to be the largest party though

Shaun 06-05-2010 09:06 PM

exit polls

lib dems look to have EPICALLY failed <3

Harry! 06-05-2010 09:09 PM

Call me stupid but what is a 'exit poll'.

Anyway I am glad that Conservatives are in lead so far.

Its wide scale poll conducted by Sky News, ITV News and the BBC which asks a random selection of people who they voted for after they exit the polling station.

It can be very accurate (1997) or very wrong (1992) with the nature of this election and that Lib Dem projection I would guess that it isn't very accurate. its too close to call.

Gemmer-x 06-05-2010 09:13 PM

seems weird that lib dems have so few seats hmm

ILoveTRW 06-05-2010 09:14 PM

what is the target that conservatives need to get a majority?

Callum 06-05-2010 09:15 PM

Lib Dems surely have more seats than 59

307 Conservative
255 Labour
59 Liberal Democrats

Callum 06-05-2010 09:34 PM

I love ITV's animations

Patrick 06-05-2010 09:39 PM

Im watching this on ITV now, can someone tell me what that exit poll means?

Why is it called 'Exit' ?

Also is it an official poll or just rough guesses of who will win?

Spike 06-05-2010 09:40 PM

The general opinion from what i'm seeing, hearing and reading is major doubts over this exit poll. Such doubts makes the rest of the night that much more interesting

I'm on UTV but who are giving the best coverage right now?

setanta 06-05-2010 09:48 PM

Conservatives are getting a little cocky now, right?
