Class from Becks yet again, Candle in the Wind has been a fave of mine since i heard it as a boy, and i was worried it might be too big for her....but she did the song justice and i cant wait for her 1st album.

Yeah....her vote held up well!!

But lets be honest. Unlike other fans on here we can tell a good performance from an average one. And for Rebecca, that performance WAS average.....she even said on ITV2 herself that she 'murdered' Yesterday , lol.
So the big test is to come.....2 songs this week, one uptempo.....she needs to GET BACK TO WHERE SHE ONCE BELONGED.....at the top of the leader board (in Strictly parlance), and start believing in herself more. We know she has the voice,but can it adapt to different music genres? A few doubts on Saturday....I hope she comes out and blows them away this week!!

She hardly murdered it. But it was a terrible performance compared to her others

The arrangement of Yesterday was poor; not really Rebecca's fault, unless she rewrote the music.

Still she survived, which shows she can even when it goes a little wrong. She remains likeable and humble whilst her main competitor Matt seems to be going out of his way to show he is neither.

I agree that this latest performance ("Yesterday") was not her best. Wish she had chosen a better song, she had a huge choice of Beatles songs. "Ticket To Ride" would have suited her more.

Oh well, nevermind. She got through - so let's rejoice.

Anyone know the theme for next week and any rumours about Rebecca's song?
