thank you for proving my point... even whn i SPECIFICALLY ask for an example of a country cleaner than the US, you still have nothing to say but about the US, BECAUSE you don't have any dirt on other countries, you only have dirt on us, why?? because we're the only country you care about tearing apart, cause yur a xenophobic, anti-america, jerk. MOST of the information you use against the US, is information released BY the US and BY Americans... yet you DARE claim that WE are not transparent??? America is the most self-critcal country on the planet. Most of the crp i hear from youguys is crap micheal mooore, an AMERICAN exposed about us. America is the nly country on the plaet to be so self-critical. Easy target i guess for those looking for a scape-goat. WOW, look, here's a scapegoat, and unlike russia or china, or the EU, they provide all the DATA for us, and we don't have to do any work of our own!! how convenient!. What other country analyzes itself more than the USA?? none. |

good for him. I hope he doesn't flee trying to escape justice for his sex crimes. Those 2 women deserve to have their day in court just as he has.

Read through that list again numbnuts, think you will see a few examples where prosecutions etc were not forthcoming or investigations were deliberately hampered, swayed or even stopped to prevent the real truth coming out. Incidentally its not as if the information was released as you infer, more they couldnt cover it up You make yourselves targets not scapegoats by putting yourselves up on those pedestals. Too easy really. Analyzes? You really are fixated with that aint you? |

Course you do, go back a few posts and see what you posted about Assange. Didnt the US Supreme Court say a person is presumed innocent till guilt is proven? |
Quote:
Ummmm... what do the laws of the USA have to do with a trial in the UK? The US supreme court upholds the Constitution of the United States of America, and the Constitution of the USA only protects US citizens. Not Aussies in UK prisons facing sex crimes charges in Sweden. |

Of course he will not Flee. That case in Sweden is not so simple, infact it was Dropped. But then the Evil Yanks Contacted Sweden to get them to be the Yank poodle. |

Do you realize how xenophobic you sound?? i think you do. |

Its not a trial in the UK. And he isnt currently facing any charges, he is wanted for questioning. As accurate as always. |

i really can't imagine any american calling you "limey" in the way that you are saying "yank". I think you know exactly what your doing, and i wish you'd stop. |

i'm still waiting to hear yur explaination as to what the US constitution has to do with any of this. you brought it up. you said the US justice system is obligated to presume innocence, and guilt must be proven..... how does any of this have anything to do with the US justice system?? |

In fact a lot of European countries have the same ruling, the burden of proof being with the accusor. In Assange's case complaint were made then withdrawn and later investigations were reinstigated, amusingly enough shortly after he disclosed he intended to publish certain US documents, I suppose that could be coincidence, eh? The Swedish police wanted to speak to him over the allegations, he volunteered to surrender himself to them for questioning provided they disclosed all pertinent information they had in advance so he would be able to defend himself against the allegations. The Swedish Police refused to do that and issued a European Arrest Warrant for his extradition to Sweden, he surrendered to the British Police before any sort of arrest warrant was issued in the UK. Hardly the actions of a guilty man. Yet you insist he has committed crimes. What proof are you privy to the rest of us are not? Interestingly enough Sweden hasnt as yet charged Mr Assange with anything and as such the arrest warrant issued isnt worth the paper it was printed on. The European arrest warrant should, by law, be used only to prosecute or to enforce a sentence. Serious though the allegations may be, there is no basis to extradite Mr Assange, unless for the purposes of conducting a criminal prosecution. The Swedish Prosecution Service through the government has now made formal extradition application so he can be interviewed. A hammer versus nut situation really when the Swedish police could simply ask the British police to interview him and take a statement, or they could send Swedish police over to interview him, and then determine whether to charge him. So who or what are pulling the strings of the Swedish? Quote:
