I like the political direction it's taking, but I still prefer Peeta to Gale :(

It was so much more amazing than THG. :worship:

The Games, the plot twists and the ending omfg. I can't believe they blew up District 12 sjkdfhg.

AND PEETA OMG WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM.

Such a good book tho. :worship:

Just finished Part 1 of Mockingjay...

I'm gonna assume they haven't killed off Peeta...yet :suspect: what with the blood splat thing at the end.
Haymitch has turned into a bitch :hmph:
Coin is fierce, though. And the bit with Octavia at the dinner table with the little girl (Posy?) complimenting her appearance :love:
Kinda assumed Cinna would be dead. :(
Oh and the most moving bit so far was the avox, Pollux, realising he could communicate with the mockingjays by whistling :bawling: bless him.

Nothing's really happened. So Peeta's alive but crazy. Johanna's afraid of water. Delly is qt. Gale's being a mess.

I'm struggling to like any of the characters in this book :shrug: I have to think of someone kinda obscure, like Boggs, to find someone I like. And he'll probably die anyway.

Sad about Portia + her team though :( and how quickly they just got rid of one of the Leeg girls.

I get a feeling one of the boys will die. Peeta maybe now that he's all distant. And I reckon Katniss might die a martyr too. Snow has to, he's the bad guy. Some other irrelevant ones will probably go... Plutarch and Boggs maybe.

At the end of Mockingjay, I was all like

It was just so grim, I just wanted to go to bed with a bottle of Vodka and weep. Prim s0b, FINICK ah/ and the fact that no one ever recovers from the war.

It was like all the joy in the world had died.
