Love the buildup to this film. I'm watching batman begins tonight and dark knight tomorrow, and rises on Saturday. Booked advance tickets when they became available so I can't wait.

Plus, I saw a trailer with Anne Hathaway as catwoman, the girl can strut. Sexy as.

I need to see this at some point :/

Locke. 20-07-2012 02:11 PM

Hopefully going to see it tomorrow. Need to rewatch the first 2 tonight

BringItOn 20-07-2012 02:18 PM

I'm really put off watching it now after whats happened aha -_-

Doogle 20-07-2012 05:53 PM

I can't wait to see this. I forgot about it because whenever I hear about massive upcoming movies time goes so fast and it feels weird when it's actually there. It's a shame it'll no doubt be associated with the shooting now and hopefully too many people won't be put off.

Harry! 20-07-2012 10:31 PM

Tonight I went to see this film, mainly as I wanted something to do, This film is a great film filled with the usual epic situations. You should go and see it. It was packed.

Z 22-07-2012 12:46 AM

I just saw it tonight. Absolutely brilliant. I don't even know what else to say without delving into spoilers territory, other than, it completely blows that idea out of the water that all sequels fail to live up to the first film. Rather, this trilogy gets better as it goes along. I think it could have run the risk that Spiderman 3 (the last Tobey Maguire one) did, by having so many main characters, but unlike Spiderman 3, The Dark Knight Rises succeeds in making you care about each of the characters and the film didn't feel overcrowded at any point. I need to talk about the film with someone who's seen it omg omg omg.

DaveP 22-07-2012 06:38 PM

Enjoyed the last film. Certainly looking forward to seeing the sequel. Shame about the shooting that went on at the premiere, though.

I will say one thing to those who have yet to see it. The ending is ****ing amazing!!!!! And I haven't even seen the first two :amazed:

IheartBB 22-07-2012 10:19 PM

It pretty much reached my high expectations. Not as technically sound as I'd have hoped, but made up for it for in other areas that I wasn't expecting to be so impressive.

High 8/10

The Dark Knight Rises earned $160.8 million in its opening weekend at the domestic box office, the best opening ever for a 2D movie and the third best for any movie.

Smithy 25-07-2012 11:39 PM

Saw it tonight, the twist :worship:

although the end was slightly predictable imo, and slightly cheesy too

Ninastar 29-07-2012 07:34 PM

bloody amazing!

I didn't expect the twist at all

Z 29-07-2012 10:43 PM

I wouldn't say I was expecting the twist to be what it was, but I did think something didn't quite add up about it before the twist was revealed, as prior to the twist, that part of the storyline didn't seem to contribute to anything - but its inclusion made sense once the twist was revealed... hopefully that makes sense to those who've seen it!

Spoiler:

it was obvious that they'd hint some more down the line that Blake is Robin and Scarecrow as the Judge :worship: that leaves is so wide open for the next Batman film now as well, Killer Croc as the next Villain please

reece(: 15-08-2012 04:55 AM

The deaths of the two villains were a bit of a let down :(

Callum 18-09-2012 06:19 PM

Great film, watched it in IMAX on it's second week of release. Still think The Dark Knight is the best film in the trilogy though. Bane wasn't half as good a villain as The Joker although Tom Hardy gave an excellent performance in this film. Anne Hathaway was brilliant as Catwoman, I wasn't sure about her casting prior to the film but they couldn't have cast anyone better. Really wasn't expecting the twist neither. I agree that the ending was a tad predictable but it was nice, could have been worse.

Can't wait to buy it on Blu-ray in December.

Scarlett. 08-01-2013 10:44 AM

I watched this last night. I honestly can say I loved it more than The Dark Knight, I think TDK is kinda overrated. I also enjoyed the inclusion of
