Spoiler:

it looks like you might be right Niamh, seems Brody might even be killing him himself, don't really want Saul to be killed off but I don't want Brody to be caught either. Really good ep though, didn't see the ending coming at all

Yeah, I like Saul but he has to go if they want to keep Brodys cover intact

Shaun 15-10-2012 10:21 AM

you bloody leave Saul and his lovely beard alone okay

Niamh. 15-10-2012 10:23 AM

Maybe he'll slip and bump his head and get amnesia Shaun.............oh and the video of Brody will fly out of his hand while he's falling and get crushed by a truck :idc:

Locke. 16-10-2012 08:01 PM

Episode 2 was amazing, going to have to watch episode 3 tonight now can't wait until sunday after a cliffhanger like that.

And they better not even think about killing Saul, the best character on the show :idc:

Shaun 16-10-2012 08:06 PM

Loved episode 3, the ending with Carrie's relieved sigh  and the Brody (/Brodie) scenes were excellent.

Iceman 16-10-2012 09:35 PM

Episode 3 was ****ing amazeballs..... loved every scene.....arghhhh a whole week till episode 4

Niamh. 17-10-2012 10:12 PM

Spoiler:

Saul tells Carrie, no one other than her knows about Brody yet..............my prediction will come true I'm afraid

Locke. 17-10-2012 10:27 PM

I'm going to ban you all from my thread if you don't start respecting the UK air date :idc:

Iceman 17-10-2012 10:29 PM

I already said im using the Ireland one because its accessible to you all  I do use spoilers though unlike some

Locke. 17-10-2012 10:32 PM

Poor Claudia is viewing this thread right now and has no doubt stumbled across a life threatening spoiler thanks for Niamh

MTVN 17-10-2012 10:37 PM

Yes, I opened this thread and saw Niamh's post but thankfully only read the first couple of words before I realised it might be an episode 3 spoiler, going to have to stay out of here till Sunday it seems

King Gizzard 17-10-2012 10:40 PM

Why do we have to do spoilers anyway, once it's aired it's aired, don't have spoilers for Emmerdale

King Gizzard 17-10-2012 10:41 PM

I know people wait for it to air here but still :idc: don't read the thread

Locke. 17-10-2012 10:41 PM

Hasn't aired in England, only America and maybe Ireland

Iceman 17-10-2012 10:43 PM

Ireland get it before any other country except America, same with most US shows....

Well it would be a bit silly if you had to have seen an episode that even hasn't aired in this country yet in order to look at this thread :idc:

Joelle. 17-10-2012 10:47 PM

Wasn't sure how they were going to improve on the first season, but so far the first two episodes have been even better. Carrie and Saul are the best characters on TV at the moment. :worship:

I avoid this thread until I've downloaded and watched the latest :D

Niamh. 18-10-2012 08:58 AM

I'm sorry, I saw Shauns post and assumed you'd seen it :/ I've spoilered mine

MTVN 21-10-2012 10:34 PM

I thought that episode was a bit of a let down, the cliff hanger at the end of the last ep built this one up to be really big but then it only returns to it in the very last minute which was a bit frustrating, I wasn't that bothered about the Brody and the tailor story either

MTVN 21-10-2012 11:01 PM

Episode 4 preview

Are you still so sure about your theory Niamh :xyxwave:

I think that Carrie will end up protecting him because of the whole being in love with him thing and also because she's pretty pissed off herself at the CIA and authorities herself

Locke. 22-10-2012 03:17 AM

Just watched episode 3. Agree with MTVN we should have seen a lot more of the fallout of Saul finding the tape instead of Jess and her silly function, but it was still pretty good, nowhere near on the level of episode 2 though.

The overseas scenes are usually the best, hopefully Brody ends up getting found out properly and goes back to Iraq, and Carrie somehow gets reinstated and her mission is to track him down over there.

My guess is that they'll be pulling another 24 plot out the bag soon regarding the recording of Brody, spoilered just in case

Spoiler:

There is still a mole in the CIA from Season 1 (probably Estes, as Galvez would be too obvious, it obviously isn't Carrie, and Saul is too cool for that.) Saul will bring the chip in to have it analysed or whatever, and the mole will delete it. There'll be no proof it ever existed other than Saul & Carrie's word and there will be nothing they can do to stop Brody carrying on doing what he is doing.

How great are Saul's hats

Homeland has been renewed for a third season by Showtime.

The network has ordered 12 more episodes of the Claire Danes drama, which will air in 2013.

The second season has been attracting higher ratings with each episode in the US, with last night's episode being its most watched yet with 1.75m viewers.

The ratings are even higher in the UK, where the season one finale attracted nearly 3m viewers. Channel 4 had already acquired the rights to a potential season three before it was announced.

Homeland also recently swept the top awards at the Primetime Emmys, winning the 'Lead Actor' (Damian Lewis), 'Lead Actress' (Danes) and 'Outstanding Drama' accolades.

Showtime president David Nevins said: "The Emmy wins for Homeland have certainly set the stage for a great second season.

"The writers, cast and crew of Homeland continue to create a remarkably entertaining and suspenseful roller coaster ride, growing audiences week after week."
