All were good last night. Liked J Marie and Adam.

Weird that there was no killer voices last night. They must have had a few contestants who were truly outstanding and its customary to introduce at least one of them in the first show - just like BGT did last night. Last nights were very good but a couple were far from great. It great to think that we probably didn't see the winner last night.

I liked the first girl a lot, the others were all good but didn't really stand out I don't think.

Poor Sean from 5ive. I watched a couple of clips on YouTube today. I really do like the concept but I think the choice in judges is very poor. Tom Jones yes but I'm not sold on the other three. How is will.i.am going to train anyone to sing better? Jessie J's not been around long enough and the guy from The Script, well, I consider them as a one hit wonder personally - how are any of them qualified to do this?

Really, the Script, one hit wonders :conf2: Both their albums reached no. 1 in Ireland and the UK and they've had 6 top 20 hits in Ireland, and 3 in the UK, with Breakeven also charting at 21

:laugh: I think they're a really good band, like quite a few of their songs. I do think Danny gets overshadowed a bit by having Will.i.am and Tom Jones on the panel though

Oh yeah he definitely does get overshadowed but if I was an acoustic, guitar singing solo act I would probably wanna go with Danny over all of those.

I'm expecting in the next few weeks for some killer auditions, while last night were good and some better than any of the final 16 in last years X Factor, no one really made me go AMAZING. So hopefully we'll get that soon.

Yes, I like the fact you can't say 'winner' yet either, whereas with BGT, you know you've got like 4 semi finalists already, with one destined for the final if they don't screw up.

They all have helpers, I think at the battle rounds to help them decide (Not sure if I've made that up) but none of them are MAJOR STARS from what I hear.

I would have to check. I know who Tom has anyway, just because they're one of my new favourite artists.

Meh, I only know one song by them, hence why I said I consider them to be; not that they are :tongue: I'm aware they had other hits but I don't remember what they're called and am pretty sure I've never heard them. He seems like a really non-descript choice, like surely there were plenty of other people they could have asked/chosen over him. Picking Jessie J was a bit of a stretch tbh, never mind him.
