YUK is all I can say to the banana scene and why did they have to keep on it for so bloody long and her touching up that poor cherub - made me heave I hope he got well paid for having to put up with that. I thought Julie was quite an amusing housemate up until last night but her true colours are really starting to show through now. I hope Julian keeps well away from her and hopefully he has got the message as they didn't bother to even consider him for being a god.

Julian is being played by her too,Im sure he expected her to pick him first, but shes concentrating on the young boys at the minute, so chose them to be Gods ,she knows Julian wont nominate her, and needs to up her game and her gang ,I hope hes seen through her,but doubt it

Indeed she is playing the lot of them in there - if she wasn't quite so lewd it would be quite entertaining to watch.

Full credit to Julie for not picking Julian as a God, also she was not the only one not picking him as a God too, Martin and Harvey didn't choose him either or for that matter even say his name.
They did have to stand still for the throwing things at them, he stepped off, he hardly warranted being selected then and I doubt he even expected to be anyway.

Had she insisted Julian was chosen as a God, she would have rightly been able to be criticised for only wanting the people she felt closest too as Gods.
As it is along with the other 'Gods' she played the game totally fairly.

Julian I am sure is no way in the slightest bothered either way.He will see no bad in Julie or the others, Martin and Harvey for his not being selected as a God.
Talk about clutching at straws to get at Julie, this must be one of the best yet.

I didn't see it that way, I heard her say Harvey had never moved an inch on the throwing task and Martin totally agreeing with her, after that she was only one of three to choose the next one, both Harvey and Martin also went the same way too for the next one,
You are surely not trying to tell me after Martin's comments as to Julie that he would not insist on who he wanted if he had really wanted anyone else other than the choices they made.

The banana thing was hilarious :joker: Seriously some of you need to take that broom handle out of your backsides, so what if she's 70? She is allowed to be dirty, have fun, say the 'F' word... She really doesn't care what people think & she is having FUN :D

Chuff...it's a GAMESHOW!!!!...For the last time, you are just making yourself ill with all of these Julie hating threads!
Take a valium and have lie down dear, and you may just realise that they're all playing the game in their own way!...I'm not particularly a Julie fan [in fact she's barley half way up my list]..but i've got to hand it to the old drama-queen, she has done better than I thought she would!...but I suppose that she was always going to make top three anyway...so the fact that she is bringing a bit of entertainment with her on her 'journey' ..[mmm cough cough!] is all good for the show!!
And the fact that boring Martin has finally decided that it is time to move against his competition , should be something to celebrate and not use as a brick to beat Julie's head in with!

FGS...It'll be Julian's turn next for Martin!...Will you try to crucify 'him' then?

Just chill Chuff...take it from an old fella, you'll learn to appreciate the contestant's craft , and enjoy the show exponentially more!

Cheers.

Exactly and very well said.
Totally agree with you,it is as if some think because someone is 70 that all those who are 70+ should be sitting just knitting and telling tales of the old days.
As if fun and feelings and saucy humour should stop dead because people are older.

I have found far more fun, humour and great laughs with people on social occasions who are in their 70s and even 80s than I have seen with some of my own generation and I am only 20.

What would you both have said if it was Danica,Rhian,Coleen or Sam who did it?

The same I am saying as to Julie, that it was a bit of saucy fun, a small isolated part of a whole tasks events.

Obviously I wouldn't need to be making any reference though to the 'ageist' element comments as to the incident because it was Julie, seeing as Danica.Rhian, Samantha and to a degree Coleen are younger.

I always try to balance things,I don't make or see age as a factor as to people living their lives and having a bit of fun, saucy fun or otherwise.

ash2006 29-08-2012 05:48 PM

as much as i like martin kemp as well he a bit of a nob as he nominated harvey yet says to him your a great good guy, im sure there was plenty of other options for him to nominate, so therefore he is playing a game by bring a negative factor about julie and im a fan of both

If they had done it in jest, as Julie did then I'd have laughed too, if ANY of them did it in a purposely flirty & sexual way then I would call slut! :xyxwave:
