They're checking every parcel in the city wow.

Drew. 15-04-2013 09:31 PM

the photo going around with the guy casually walking on top of a roof after the bombs went off is quite scary

joeysteele 15-04-2013 09:46 PM

Really sad scenes, hope the death toll doesn't rise, it is bad enough that it's reported people have likely lost limbs and ares eriously injured.

Man on Boston common has been handcuffed. Police shouting at people to clear the area.

I just saw this on Tumblr I mean what the ****?! This is just so out of the blue?!

I saw a video of it on the bBC too and don't really know what to say except that I'm quite shocked by it all. :conf2:

This is a worrying situation, my sympathies go out to the families involved, don't know why anyone would target such an event which has a high concentration of people in a relatively small area.

Very worrying given the public funeral on Wed in London.

Listening to news programmes now where the so called experts have already decided it is the work of Islamic terrorists regardless of the lack of evidence.

Anyone see a pattern here...???

Shaun 15-04-2013 10:08 PM

So sad :( and as usual has spurred loads of sanctimonious arseholes on Facebook moaning about how we don't treat every Baghdad market bombing like this.

GypsyGoth 15-04-2013 10:10 PM

Obama is now speaking about it on skynews.

Except it isn't though is it.. I mean, the whole world knew a bombing or a terrorist attack in general was on it's way - not saying this is related to N Korea but you know, it's not exactly shocking.

Nedusa 15-04-2013 10:16 PM

Nobody with half a brain cell could think this had anything to do with North Korea...!!!

Shaun 15-04-2013 10:17 PM

Nedusa, Patrick...

I don't really think many people expected a terrorist attack on a charity event such as this, let alone for it to be orchestrated by a country as incompetent as North Korea.

It's not too bad. But I agree with Caitlin, these poor guys have had their worst moments shown all over the world
