So this one is the 'overnight' rating and then the 'final' rating includes on demand views and those who re-watched it.

BBC do that and they always have a huge boost of numbers from the overnight to the final ratings.

Final ratings don't mean much to reality shows, advertising is sold on overnight viewers not catch up viewers who don't see them.

I've added this thread to the BB14 thread finder to make it easier to locate.

Unless this series builds we are fooked for the civilian edition from now on.

Enjoy it whilst you still can.

Imagine Channel 5 think its due to taking the show back to basics and go all out TOWIE style again.

Lowest ever launch figure. Such a shame, but, where was the big promo? TV and billboards?

Jack_ 14-06-2013 12:13 PM

That rating is due to the lack of promotion, they have themselves to blame. Spend all the money on changing it up and don't promote it...I mean that's just foolish.

I'd say Live Launch Part 2 pulled in about 1.70-80 million viewers. It would be great if it could rise from Thursdays launch. But, I'm doubtful that it will.

Sawyer 15-06-2013 08:41 AM

@iSamHarrington: Big Brother peaked at 2.36 million yesterday with a 12.6% share. Average similar to launch part 1, slight improvement though.

Hopefully it will improve as the series goes on

*mazedsalv** 15-06-2013 08:44 AM

Want to know the average. Should be around the same as Thursday.

*mazedsalv** 15-06-2013 09:41 AM

2.11m (10.6%) for last night. Brilliant hold on to the audience from Thursday.

RichardG 15-06-2013 09:45 AM

Any news on what the 5* LF ratings were?

Raph 15-06-2013 09:46 AM

Yay that's great news, at least it still stayed above 2M.

Me. I Am Salman 15-06-2013 09:48 AM

Me interested in LF tbh

Fingerprints101 15-06-2013 09:49 AM

Was it 2.11m with or without +1?

Jake. 15-06-2013 09:50 AM

At least it held

With. So far then...

Launch (1)- 2.13m
Launch (2)- 2.11m

Considering it was on a Friday, which has more of the audience out and against MPD. It held much better than I thought.

BUT, it's Saturday tonight... we know the ratings will be very low.

could be mind this series will just keep a stable number.
one things certain the drama of the show dropping 2 million viewers after the launch might be avoided.

I just hope the live feed has done okay..I still cant believe it was being showed online also they kept that blooming quiet!!!

Jake. 15-06-2013 09:58 AM

But yeah, tonight won't be great but I can see viewers sticking with it this time, perhaps an average of 1.7 or something

daniel-lewis-1985 15-06-2013 10:04 AM

I literally thought it was only going to get about 1.7 so pleasantly surprised.

Last night didn't seem like another launch so im not really treating it as such therefor it doesn't seem like such a bomb lol.

The good thing is the casual viewer would usually have switched off after Thursday after seeing who was going in but they either came back or BB has a stable audience of 2 million people who will allways watch.

Would be brilliant if tonight could get around 1.6 but I think it will be below the 1 million mark.

Anyone know what BOTS and live feed got?

I don't think it will go below the 1 million mark today BB has only gone down into the million mark 2 time's I think the first one was BB12 I think and the 2nd one was BB13 because of the Olympics opining. BB has not got alto of competition today the S*** voice is on at 7 I think

And it will be great if the series average was 2 million

*mazedsalv** 15-06-2013 10:40 AM

I think the two launches can tomeshift a massive number. The time shifts for Channel 5 are getting bigger and bigger. CBB11 was adding around 800k to some of their shows! The 2 launches could be at around 2.6m-2.7m officially.

There is no way the series will average 2 million.

For that to happen it would have to get 2 million per episode or higher seeing as launch only got 2.13.

Tonight is a Saturday which is allways the lowest rated episode and im expecting a drop off after launch so its very possible it could dip below 1 million.
