Sometimes I think Woman have to take ownership of their part in situations. Respect to all people though it is an opinion I am not saying it is right for everyone.

But then when someone is slapped in the face and they are punished for it do you not enter a grey area?

How is slapping someone hard on the arse, hurting them, different to slapping them in the face or any other body part? It's assault.

Also, it's not just that incident, but pinning her down, grabbing her by the throat and using threatening language with the way he warned her he "would get scary".

kistar 15-07-2013 09:22 PM

Because it isn't slapping her in the face is it and if she sensationalised the slap on the arse when she complains about him punching her on the nose will she taken as seriously?Especially when she was playing around with him in the minutes before it all happened, I just find it really uncomfortable when women start throwing words like assault into the mix in this kind of situation. It's all about perception.

The reason people are throwing around the word 'assault' is that in the eyes of the law, what happened WAS assault. He struck her. I don't know how many more times I have to say this. It is a plain, simple and very clear cut case of assault. There are no mitigating circumstances, you can't do anything to anyone that will justify them striking you. The only time you can strike another person is in self-defence. That is what the law says and it doesn't matter whether you agree with it or not. There is no need for perception in this case, the whole incident was caught on camera.

Just watching highlights show and i can clearly see they are having kinky fun according to the precap... and it seems hazel spanked daleys ass first...... well well well

Im_Juz_ChiLLin 15-07-2013 09:50 PM

hazel was loving it she was egging him on for sure !!! she should be evicted as well why she got no warning?

Im_Juz_ChiLLin 15-07-2013 09:53 PM

Yes Thank you big brother for the formal warning !!!! but you should have removed her as well !!!

kistar 15-07-2013 10:17 PM

So she says she feels threatened and cornered by him and afterwards she cuddles him and laughs about it, the "law"says it's assault , Hazel thinks it's funny.

CaudleHalbard 15-07-2013 10:19 PM

Technically Hazel and Daley assaulted each other. In fact Hazel would be regarded as having indecently assaulted Daley.

Both should have been booted.

RodHull 15-07-2013 10:22 PM

For the record I cant stand Hazel, I think shes a pricktease and totally calculating in the way she manipulates people... BUT

What he did to her on tonights HLs was totally unacceptable. What was worse was how he didnt even see where his actions crossed from being rowdy playfighting into full on threatening psycho s**t.

Up until he got the duvet back it was just about on the right side of acceptable, it was borderline but he could have survived that. After that it went very wrong very quickly. When he called her 'little girl' put his hand round her throat and pinned her to the bed even without the threat it was beyond acceptable. You could tell she was scared as well, her behaviour totally changed when he was looming over her she was pretty much frozen probably desperate for BB to intervene.

Only thing she was guilty of in it all was misreading a situation. She thought it was all in jest and she went a little far with the shorts thing but it does not excuse his reaction. Or his failure to see how it wasnt right.

A couple of questions remain... first why did she sort of defend him afterward when she was clearly scared. Secondly what the hell did he mean when he suddenly launched into a tirade about her being devious when he got the boot??

Hazel never said she was assaulted. I used that word because technically that's what it was.

I never said it was "slapping her in the face". I said if Big Brother has rules about housemates physically "assaulting" each other and one housemate was reprimanded when he strikes another in the face, but someone isn't reprimanded for striking another on the arse then it creates a double standard.

You can't say a slap on the arse is different to one in the face because where do you draw the line? What about a slap on the leg, the arm?

If BB has rules, they have to stick to them and not pick and choose which body part it applies to.

Hazel played him like a fiddle, she had her game plan from DAY ONE and Gina knew it!!! When Daley said "I'll finish you!" Hazel said, "I'll finish you quicker" she knew exactly what she was doing and which buttons to press to trigger a response. Like she said herself she is EVIL INSIDE!!!!

Johnnyuk123 15-07-2013 10:37 PM

On the plus side Daley can now see to his erection in his hotel room away from the cameras.

CORRECT!!!

smeagol 15-07-2013 10:39 PM

they were having fun she wanted him he was in bad mood. then he got serious and took it to far he crossed the line from fun to psycho.. there is no reason for that or excuse
blaming her is just silly, all he had to do was play or be nice not go psycho.
thats the last thing she wanted or expected.

RodHull 15-07-2013 10:40 PM

Sorry this is disgusting, yeah shes an evil manipulative witch but what he did is totally bang out of order. People defending him need to have a word with themselves imo

Beso 15-07-2013 10:43 PM

I just want to say the only reason hazel said that he had done nothing wrong when he asked her was because she was **** scared..carry on,cause you people are seriously flawed.

Some of the archaic, misogynistic comments on this thread remind me why trial by jury is not ideal. Because people can be sooooo stupid.

I think the response she was after at that point..was for him to kiss her and so on.

Not for him to turn like that.

Yeah, it looked like she meant finish him in a sexual sense to me

Yes I thought that too. I am laughing at some of the anti Hazel comments on here. So many suggesting that men or Daley in particular have no sexual control whatsoever and are putty, or rather NOT, in the hands of women, hilarious !!!
