If Hazel resorted to crying and tearful diary room chats, BB would probably be FORCED to step in.
As it is, Hazel has chosen to be strong, which unfortunately means BB can let the bullying continue.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Hazel was HIDING tears when she put that blanket over her face!
Being told that she only had porridge to sate her hunger, while the HM who'd been bullying her and electrocuting her all day would be getting a delicious meal, would definitely make most people cry.
And then she had to endure more taunts from Gina ("Stay the ******* away!" while she was trying to sleep and put the whole horrible day behind her!

Wasn't it enough for Gina that she'd been given power to bully Hazel in the task?
That she'd been rewarded with a phone call from her boyfriend AND real food?!
She still has to taunt Hazel while she's trying to sleep after a day of slaving away, having no real food??
The word "disgusting" doesn't even BEGIN to describe such bullying!

Its just a task. Shock pads have been used many times before.
I see no "bullying" of Hazel.

Talk about a word that's quickly losing it's meaning(if not already). Had Hazel just done as told it wouldn't have gone that far and I think you're for getting the fact that Hazel's a Bitch she's just not a likable one. I don't feel sorry for her one bit. Because if there was someone she didn't like and she could turn the house against them she would. You'd be kidding yourself if you think she wouldn't.

^The only word that lost its true meaning was the word "racism", when Gina used it in week 1.
In fact, looking back I realise that we got a glimpse of Gina's bullying nature right there.

The physical abuse (electro shocks, the hunger rations) and emotional abuse (the 'empowerment' of HM's who are OBVIOUSLY going to use that power to bully Hazel) actually upset me tonight.

I don't mean I found it 'annoying' or 'unfair'. I mean I actually found upsetting.

Although the bullying is CHANNELED through Gina, it's still the producers who are orchestrating it.

Please sign this thread or leave your comment if you were angered or upset by the events that were broadcast tonight.

:joker: so many crazies

LmfaoXD case and point. I swear people can't have conflict with someone these days without that word being brought up. Hell even Gina said she thought she(herself) was being bullied. That word continues to lose value.

Because they need a story of the week. They only have 40 or so minutes to clip together. If they put all the stuff about everyone else they would have to double the amount of time they get to show it.

Oh come on...

Gina's been given ALL the "live in luxury" special priviliges tasks..

Safehouse,
fake letters from home
Outside phone call
Now queen bee !

Ok she's gonna take 'em.
And admit Gina is the best bet for great telly.

But it's possible others might just be entertaining too if they were given the chance.

Rightly or wrongly producers don't think "Hang on, someone else should have the power for a change."

Unless I'm missing something obvious let's not kid ourselves here !

I think you just missed the whole point. The fact that they do give them task, but choose not to air them is the point. Had they'd shined in the task given to them it would have been on HL the fact that they are only on LF... Well I think you said it in your post Gina and Dexter make great telle:-) In fact I think most reality shows have people they show and people in the background for the same reason. So I don't think anyone kids themselves into thinking otherwise.

Go on then.
What mega special privilege tasks have the other housemates had ?

BCFCMike 09-08-2013 04:16 AM

Gina and Charlie were disgusting.

Lol Sophie just had one last week, the twins had a couple when it first started, Charlie as well, Dexter obviously has had a few, Callum had it when his storyline was going, Hazel had hers in the house..Ect but if your looking for a list I'm sure someone will point you to a official list, but those just fresh in my head. The fact that you don't remember them or watched them should tell why they don't air them in those 40mins, but this is a whole other topic. You can make a thread about.

the_answers 09-08-2013 04:38 AM

I don't mean "Enjoy a big nosh up in the diary room" ones.
Everyone get's those.

I mean the special ones - the ones that Gina seems to always get.

You say "Had they'd shined in the task given to them it would have been on HL".
But it would be impossible not to feature the Queen Bee one in the HL such was the size and they were doing it all day.

Anyway, no point arguing the toss, think I've made my point.

ozzyshaggah 09-08-2013 04:47 AM

gina is a bully
kick the ugly stupid cow out

if they wanted an interesting task hey should have made hazel queen bee

then you would see lady vaGINA in all her pathetic glory

what a missed opportunity

So the point you're trying to make is that you're biased against Gina and don't want acknowledge that when people did have task they weren't interesting so they didn't get aired on HL or when they were it was cut short because again their task was a bust. Since Gina's is actually entertaining and gets aired it's biased because they show her so much. Lol then your point was proven. Love that logic;)

the_answers 09-08-2013 04:59 AM

Just stuck up for her in the other thread !

But since you won't tell me what these mega special privilege tasks were that never got aired, I can't really debate them.

So you're right, I can only go off what I see on the HL.

frenchboy 09-08-2013 05:34 AM

Official bull**** thread more like...
If Hazel felt like she was bullied, she would have left the house. But she is still there, isn't she?

oopsimawesome 09-08-2013 05:36 AM

I watch BB with a group of 4 other friends. This time last week we all were endeared towards Gina, buying in to her fish out of water persona but this week all of us have been turned off by her vile, bullying behavior.
I have to say, I'm really disappointed in C5 this year, and that's something I never thought I'd say. C5, the GBP and fellow housemates have been bullying, belittling, singling out and just being plain terrible for WEEKS now to the unflappable Hazel, to the point where I wonder what they will even talk about when she's out of the house.
I've always defended BB as the one reality show that's actually real but it's seemingly devolving in to a puppet show for the producers and not allowing it to be what it once was, which is a social experiment rather than a rigged/contrived "game".
I still find the UK version far superior to my countries version as I feel you get to actually know or care about the housemates in the UK version as they aren't allowed to talk about the game and spend the entire series plotting and backstabbing but I think the UK version would do well in taking a page out of the US version in the sense that they don't tamper with the formula they use to create the show. With the US version you know whats what and whats going to go down as they do not deviate from what they tell you is going to happen, whereas this Secrets and Lies rubbish is literally flying by the seat of their pants and seemingly making up the game as it progresses and altering rules as they see fit to seek out their own agenda to single out and highlight who C5 producers want to win.

Considering Charlie & Sophie had to follow orders from Gina like the rest of the HM I cant see how you can call them sheep. It wasn't bullying, its a task, some people in this world want to be offended.

I'll rewatch some of the earlier LF's and message you.

I do like the fact that when people thought she lost her feisty side they called her boring and now that it's back she's a vile bitch.hahaha well at least people are talking about her again:-) Her=Gina

armand.kay 09-08-2013 05:56 AM

You know there is people actually getting bullied in the word throwing the word around willy billy makes it seem less serious.

Johnnyuk123 09-08-2013 07:19 AM

The irony here is that if Gina had picked Dexter instead of Hazel all those screaming bullying would simply be laughing at Dexter getting zapped.

Everytime the shock button was pressed each and every HM other than Gina and Charlie got a shock, Sam and Dexter shocked themselves when they pressed the buzzer, the only HM that complained was Hazel, Hazel knows where the DR room is if she feels she is being picked on, Gina and Hazel have taken the opportunity to pick on each other from very early on, I won't be signing any petition.

Yes I agree and the even bigger irony is that they ALL got zapped each time not just Hazel. I think people are getting confused because they picked Hazel to do some extra work, though I didn't really see that enforced from what I could see they all as a team did the extra work.

lovebigbrotheruk 09-08-2013 07:27 AM

Gina is a sweetheart.

exoticrosebud 09-08-2013 07:29 AM

dont tell me that if the boot had been on the other foot.....hazel would have done exactly the same........and they are both big enough and ugly enough to stand up for themselves...
