I blame it on *******king Ofcom

All they had to do was 'bleep' Carol out and crack on with the show and nobody would have batted an eyelid.BB made a huge issue of it and even said the dreaded word uncensored.BB wanted this for ratings.

I thought Carol was wrong to 'spill the beans' on Ron. I would have thought the idea of him being on the show is to see if he has learnt and changed.
Actually using such filthy language in Carol's context is nothing compared to actual racism. Clever racists never use the 'N' word.

That's what I was thinking. BB should've done the same though, when reprimanding her in the diary room.

As for what people can or can't say, nothing is stopping anyone to say whatever, on TV or elsewhere. But to expect no backlash when being offensive, that's something else entirely.

In my view, she was muck stirring, she had no reason to go into detail as to why and how things turned so badly for Ron. all she had to say was there was some fuss over a comment he made about someone else.

It is for Ron to address the issue only if he wants to, not for Carol to get all pious and start relaying to others the story behind it all.
A proper busybody she is and on an aptly named programme as to 'loose women' becasue she can be very loose with her tongue about other people.

She maybe needed pulling up as to the conversation but I still do agree that the warning was out of order though and to a point hypocritical as to BB too.

Totally agree.

It's a sensitive issue and Carol went steaming in with her gossip boots on.

I can't imagine Ron stirring, taking someone aside and dishing the dirt on something unpleasant from Carol's past like that.

Libertarianism is a disastrous system when dealing with politics. Many of us are social libertarians in this country, so what kind of movement does it need? Crazy Ron Paul types?

I had no idea she has already quit the loose women show
She became a household name thanks to her daily appearances on Loose Women, but after more than a decade on the panel Carol McGiffin has quit the show for pastures new.

The 53-year-old TV personality was the longest serving member on the panel, but admits she won’t be returning to the long-running ITV show when the new series kicks off later this year.

Speaking to the Sunday People, she said: ‘I’m sure some of you will rejoice but those who might not be so pleased deserve some sort of explanation

Yeah, all a bit weird, they always have a send off when one of them leave yet not one mention of it when they broke up for the summer holidays.:conf:

This year, I dont think there has been one deserved warning (that we have seen)

-Jemima black men thing
- Dexter caravan comment
- Gina beanie snatch/assault

And now this

Its from one extreme to the other. Last year they did **** all when they should have, and this year I feel the housemates should be afraid to sneeze incase they are warned :joker:

Agree!

I'm just watching it now - more amazed that the Big Brother voice actually said it whilst condemning her for doing the same. Staggering cluelessness.

Good god, this "controversy" is even worse than the Jemima one, it's really pathetic. "Race row"? ... god they'll do anything for a story and I don't even like Carol either.
