Well I think it's a good figure for the launch :)

Hopefully tonight it does as well. I doubt it tho.

daniel-lewis-1985 06-06-2014 01:52 PM

Everything is against tonight doing well.

Last night proved unpopular with a lot of viewers and the fact its a Friday and gorgeous weather out im expecting a lot of people to be out tonight.

Hopefully it matches last nights but as we know the second episode tends to drop off, last year being the only exception.

Where are we seeing it proved unpopular?

All over social media even on here the general comments were about how much alike the housemates were and Twitter especially had thousands of tweets saying how it was "boring".

Before you go rambling on at me saying we cant trust social media for ratings im just saying a lot of people found it pretty dull.

Me personally aswell felt last night was a pretty meh launch.

Samm 06-06-2014 02:27 PM

Last years BB was the highest rated Civilian series on C5, so I wouldn't say it's going to flop, I feel like the Seconded launch will hold last year's did

Why are people saying that all the Housemates where dull, there is 6 more going in tomorrow lmao, I though the launch was good

I wasn't going to ramble on at you :laugh2:

What I will say though is, it depends on tonight. Personally, I think there's some really interesting characters in there this year - I certainly didn't think it was boring... We'll see. Hope it does well - with the amount of money and effort that's clearly gone into this series, it certainly deserves to.

Samm 06-06-2014 02:37 PM

It did better than last year anyway, Last year's got 1.99 Million

RichardG 06-06-2014 02:40 PM

:( not great. I was hoping for a boost up on last years considering (I don't think) a new contract has been signed yet...

ruiphillips 06-06-2014 02:41 PM

Wow, quite shocked in launch with over 2m.

Viacom have taken over and they own a Channel in India with Big brother, 2.1 is good for a C5 program anyway

Samm 06-06-2014 02:53 PM

I'm happy it beat C4 tbh

jackc1806 07-06-2014 08:02 AM

Not long to go...
Personally expecting 8 out of 10 cats to beat BB, but obviously hope not.
I think we'd have to be pleased with 1.5m+

jackc1806 07-06-2014 09:03 AM

DS and I don't know at the moment, trying to find out

jackc1806 07-06-2014 09:12 AM

Bollocks. 8 out of 10 Cats Countdown got 1.97 million

Jemal 07-06-2014 09:13 AM

sigh

Jamesy 07-06-2014 09:14 AM

I guessed there would be a sharp drop over to the second show. The 'samey' housemates probably put a lot of people off on Thursday.

Cal. 07-06-2014 09:18 AM

Wow, big drop. Nevermind, it was up against some big things last night.
