I'm so glad everyone is celebrating his amazing life. It's good to see people sharing the Samaritans phone number on Twitter, in death he could help others who feel like this. It's so sad.

Absolutely this. I wish he could have know how much he was adored and how much he meant to so many people. There also probably couldn't be a nicer man. He came across as one of the most humblest and caring actors in Hollywood.

There's a live stream of the outside of his house? :umm2:

Just when you think there's hope for humanity.

i dont understand why anyone would think its acceptable to fly a helicopter over a place where they know someone has taken their own life. No respect whatsoever.

classy

I used to watch Mrs. Doubtfire possibly hundreds of times as a child because of the ending scene and its general overarching message of parents going through separation not necessarily being the end of childhood and family love, it was the most comforting film for me because of that.

I mean that has to be one of the most perfect movie ending scenes of all time, right? It was for me anyway.

It's funny Shaun, because as a child I hated it (the ending). Growing up though, I started to realise it wasn't sunshine and rainbows and then the film meant a whole lot more to me. It didnt make me cry until my parents split up, which was in my late teenage years.

i wish community centers and other places did this

not like the movies where they play all the new releases, but places where people of all ages could bring films and watch them on a big screen and meet new people

Like a youth club in a cinema?

King Gizzard 12-08-2014 12:49 AM

unfortunately its impossible with all the red tape/laws/copyrights from the film companys..and would cost alot just to get a license for each film

Suze 12-08-2014 12:49 AM

:( R.I.P Robin.

I watch films with people online all the time, we type to each other on skype or whatever in a small window and have the film streaming, then just say 3 2 1 go and press play at the same time. :joker: It's fun, more fun that watching a film alone at 3am or whatever, if a friend is awake and can watch too!

No, I mean people of all different ages

Would be a nice way of getting people together IMO. But like Nathan said, it would never happen.

It's odd watching a Robin Williams-centric episode of Family Guy earlier this evening, only to find literally fifteen minutes later that he's passed away.

Tragic news.
