This was great, so pleased that alot of the previous cast have been reprised and not just a whole bunch of newbies to get used to.

In fairness now that you know whodunnit, it probably is not worth the watch, basically the kid died at the hands of Joe Miller, Ellie was investigating the case with David Tennant (can't recall his screen name, alzheimers), and Miller was Ellies husband, cue she lost her career and her oldest son who was bessie mates with the victim, not sure where he is now :shrug:

Amazing cant wait for next Monday!

Shame her character isnt back.

Didn't Joe give his full confession BEFORE Ellie was allowed to see him?

Therefore how can they say she beat a confession out of him?

I think it's because, how could they trust them as detectives if they'd do that?

But in Ellie's case, this is obviously a very personal thing for her. Still wrong, but they could see how it would affect her, him being her husband.

It's a bit of a stretch to try and argue that Ellie was involved in stitching her own children's father up for the murder of a family friend he didn't commit.

I think they're accusing Alec of beating it out of him to get a confession at the shed/house w/e before Ellie did, she said something like 'how are we meant to know if he didn't get those injuries before arriving at the station'.
