I'll be probably recording BB on both these days.

It will be very similar to previous c5 launches around the 2m mark

Jason. 05-05-2015 10:57 PM

I'm starting to think it will launch less than 2.5m now.
I'm going with 2.1m for the launch.

There seems to be a lack of hype and buzz surrounding this series, as opposed to Secrets and Lies, and Power Trip.

I know.
But they've really given up with this series. You can just tell.

Even BB15 had more promotion at this point than BB16.
There's almost six days till the series starts, and I haven't even seen one advert on TV, the countdowns haven't even started.

For CBB15, I saw adverts and idents non stop from 22nd December - 5th January.

Both BB14 and BB15 launched with 2.1m, so if you think there is less buzz.. under 2m?

I mean 2.1m including +1.
Probably 1.8m excluding +1.

BB14 got 2.35m, and BB15 got 2.43m - for the first launch that is.

People will be watching the massive Bayern vs Barca semi on ITV, and the aftermath of it.

Pretty poor from C5.

Definitely.

I only found about this year's BB yesterday from their advert, with only 6 days to go!

That's gonna get more viewers than a big CL semi final 2nd leg?

Should hope not!

Rob! 06-05-2015 07:27 PM

Tuesday night schedule:

BBC 1: 9pm - 24 hours in the Past
10pm - News

BBC 2: 9pm - Wastemen
10pm - Later Live with Jools Holland

ITV: 9pm - Football Munich vs Barcelona

Channel 4: 9pm - No Offence
10pm - Benefits Street

Channel 4 I suspect may thrash the launch. Benefits street especially was a huge ratings hit for them last year :worry:

Ross. 06-05-2015 07:29 PM

Not Channel 5 launching civilian BB up against so much competition :worry:

Rob! 06-05-2015 07:30 PM

That mixed in with the football and the fact that BBC1 exists means that it won't do any better than about 4th in the slot I don't think :(

Benefits Street is a repeat of the Monday episode, so I don't think it'll be too bad.

Rob! 06-05-2015 07:35 PM

Why are they repeating the same show twice in the space of two days in the prime time slot? :umm2:

Rob! 06-05-2015 07:35 PM

How did No Offence do?

You'd expect it to make some dent in the viewings though.

But with Barca being 3-0 up already, probably will help.

jackc1806 06-05-2015 10:57 PM

2.1m-2.3m

If they promote on ITV...
