I just watched the Christmas special. :joker: I am so behind! It was amazing, why can't this damn show last forever?

BBUKAUSFAN 11-07-2017 09:26 AM

were getting a final 2 hour episode thank the lord! Hopefully it brings everything to a close, still wish we were getting a season 3 as it was looking to be amazing.

I’m gonna miss this show :(

Headie 17-05-2018 05:14 PM

I'm not ready for it to be over :bawling:

Headie 07-06-2018 10:13 PM

So this ends tomorrow </3

Headie 08-06-2018 01:37 PM

I didn't realise it was 2 and a half hours :skull: Imma need to make time for this

Headie 08-06-2018 04:36 PM

So I just finished it, all I can say is that it was a beautiful series finale for a beautiful show, I'm really going to miss this show alot </3

So thankful for the message they conveyed throughout the series and the diversity they embraced, it will forever remain one of my all time favourite shows

I loved the finale. I had to pause it a bunch of times to compose myself because of the adrenaline rushing through my body. There were so many fantastic scenes. The one in the nightclub was my favourite.

Someone who reviews for The Guardian did a really shoddy write-up of the finale, even though he had only watched two episodes beforehand. He said that the finale was a spectacle for the fans, which it obviously was. I'm just thankful there's some form of closure to the show, and anyone who watched it as an isolated story is obviously not going to appreciate as much as the fans will

I loved the ending, and the credits when you could see Brian crying about it being over. Like you said, Hayden, it was a fantastic show that celebrated diversity at its best, as well as providing compelling storylines and intense action. I don't think anything else will live up to it in that regard.

So sad this is over

Haven't watched the finale yet (2 and a half hours?!) but I will this week

Adamw92 11-06-2018 07:49 PM

Still not over this being finished </3 there was so much more story to tell.

Shaun 13-06-2018 03:25 AM

This finale was an absolute mess  I mean that with the best possible love but at the same time it was such a shame to see every storyline being closed so hurriedly
Spoiler:

because it made BPO look thoroughly incompetent  Not a single friend or partner or colleague of the cluster died? Really?

I'll admit the Kala scene got me going and I do, in a way, think that would've been a braver route to go down but at the same time I think she was my favourite of the sensates so...

But yeah, so many WTF moments (Rajan and Wolfgang just suddenly being bi, Lito suddenly having a throuple, etc.)

Part of me thinks if they hadn't spent so much bloody money on all of these random location shots and random orgies and picturesque montages that must've taken ages to film, they might've had a budget for another series :p Oh and ending on a shot of a used strap-on? REALLY?

I can see why the series as a whole got mixed reviews because there's just so many... random orgies, random parties, random singalongs... that the actual plot gets a bit lost. But I can also see why people loved that and it was one of the best shows for inclusivity and love and pride.

Firewire 16-06-2018 11:21 PM

I loved the finale

It was obviously rushed and there was a lot of noticeable Hernando stand-in moments

You can tell they weren't given a large budget due to the lack of locations

But overall I enjoyed it and it rounded it off nicely

I do think there is a lot more story to tell, but I'm glad Netflix gave them a feature-length finale

I love these characters and I'm so sad the story is now finished

Firewire 16-06-2018 11:23 PM

OH AND CAN WE @ WOLFGANG IN THE PINK DENIM JACKET?

Braden 17-06-2018 09:01 PM

The only thing I didn’t like about the finale was how Rajan became more important than most of the cluster. I know Kala and Wolfgang’s relationship was integral to the story, but I never cared for Rajan so his sudden relevance was strange to accept.

Part of me really wanted RuPaul to appear out of nowhere during the scene where they were referring to ‘Mother’.

Headie 07-11-2019 10:09 PM

We been knew but he's finally announced it publically
