I'm the same. I decided to look up creepy old silent horror movies and ended up with this guy stuck in my head.

That sh*t me up more than any other for some reason.

Why, because he stole your usual hiding place? :omgno:

Also I love urban legends and creepy **** but I've never heard of this lisa lam stuff *goes to read*

We had a creepy urban legend in my area when I was growing up. There's an area nearby, a walking track that leads over a bridge that used to be a train route years ago, and people said that if you listen closely at night you can hear a ghost train passing over, me being the easily-paranoid kid that I was ended up convincing myself that I did actually hear it a few times. :worry:

Niamh. 20-08-2015 07:29 PM

oh we have one like that too, The Boggy Woman lol the story goes that this woman was murdered and buried in a bog which is near a road and at night you can see her ghost walking along that road by the bog :worry:

Omg, that one's dark. If we had that in my area as a kid I'd be point-blank refusing to go anywhere near. D:

I used to live by Weper Woods and there are a few creepy stories about it, we used to go in the woods in the pitch black though using our phones for light haha

It's in an area I drive through every day but it's usually daytime so it's not so bad

Oh wow, that's interesting! It's always even eerier when there's a history attatched to the stories.

Watch out for those serial killers hiding in your car! :hee:

Ugh, there's another version of killers hiding underneath cars and slashing people's ankles as they go to get in. D: That one was used in the Urban Legend movie too.

There are tons of different versions that's half of why I find them so interesting haha

I'd love that :amazed:

Lostie! 20-08-2015 08:04 PM

Sometimes when I was walking home from college, I'd use that route, but over the autumn when I got out at like 5 I'd be walking home in the dark and it's away from the main road so it's just fortunate those stories didn't pop into my head at those times.

I did notice that my walking gradually sped up during those walks though, my paranoia automatically kicks in when I'm alone in a dark area. :hee:

Amy Jade 20-08-2015 08:29 PM

I totally do that, I walk with my keys in my hand at night and I'll keep looking over my shoulder. I think I've watched way too many horrors haha

When I was a kid I started up an urban legend at my school, I convinced everyone in my year that a ghost was living under the sheds :hehe: Eventually I got in trouble though :( certain kids got really scared/wernt sleeping at night and their mums complained to my mum/the school

Benjamin 20-08-2015 09:08 PM

Does anyone remember the "Cutting Squares" urban legend?

Welp I keep reading all these scary games like the Midnight Man and the Three Kings before I go to bed and it's freaking me out.

I kinda want to do them but I'm way too scared lol. Someone should volunteer and report their findings to TiBB (if they survive that is )
