:shrug: custom infractions like this are ridiculous though, and like josy said, not everything is in the rules so mods have to use thier own initiative, I imagine most of the infractions handed out aren't even on that list because it's usually stuff like "causing drama" "didn't drop it etc" which are all custom infractions and are given out at varying levels depending on the mod, plus why are there 4 different ones for insults

Now 100 forum members might agree with this comment or even laugh at that comment but another 100 might be totally offended by it simply because they love cheese and how dare the poster use the very harsh word HATE when describing cheese. The problem only arises when the 201st person reads this comment who just so happens to be a moderator. They have the power to take action for or against this comment depending on their own personal take on it. Unfortunately if that moderator is a cheese lover they will agree that this comment is in fact offensive to cheese and there is every chance that the original poster is getting an infraction for using the word HATE against cheese.

If you have multiple infractions for insulting people then you do it again the infractions points will likely be higher.
