This is so messy and uncomfortable.

No matter what Dr. Luke says though, it is harder to trust the word of someone with so much money and power. Of course he is going to deny, this can very likely ruin his career. It's possible these accusations were exaggerated and egged on by the influence of Kesha's mother and lawyer, but signs point to the fact that they were not baseless. The fact that many artists who have directly worked with Dr. Luke are standing by Kesha speaks volumes.

At the same time, it would be unfair to see his career ruined if these allegations truly are 100% fabricated. I don't know, I don't think any of us have the right to really judge without knowing what really happened. But regardless, Kesha deserves the support.

I don't see why she should have to comment - as sad as it is for Kesha, Dr Luke has not been convicted of anything and for anyone not directly involved in the situation, you have to hedge your bets - maybe she's making it up, maybe she's not, but the chances are Sony are going to come out of this unharmed because they're a gigantic business and Kesha and Dr Luke are just two employees. Taylor's not going to wade into a situation she knows nothing about, not when it might affect her music career too. Sending her a quarter of a million is far more practical and useful to Kesha than an empty show of support that won't actually DO anything...
