He actually made money from homophobia and racism, something you can't accuse Winston of.

And yet Davidson got a free ride, won the show and was feted by Emma.

Is it cos e is white?

Sure is because he's white !!! Remember his Chalky character? I do

There are definitely undertones of racism from viewers on this show but that's a whole different debate that has been done to death on this forum so let's not go there.

I don't know a lot about Jim Davidson's career, so am unaware if he has made insulting remarks about gay people off-stage in his real life. Feel free to provide me with proof that doesn't involve jokes he's told on a comedy stage which don't count, and I'll be happy to concede defeat

It's perfectly comparable. You know she's not racist your just trying to drag her name through the mud because you're unhappy with her not loving a homophobic idiot.

to be honest most if not all adults in the 70s were homophobic racists by todays standard

Winston did nothing wrong. He was a black unattractive man, which was enough for the shallow narcissist hags to set about him.

If he was a young white model then his bedroom leering would have all been good fun and his views on gays would not have even been mentioned.

Emma being racist and Jim having charm? What is this thread?

That series Emma and Rylans bias towards Jim was sickening, if you remember it was the series they got dragged all over twitter for their bias

MrWong 09-01-2016 05:33 PM

I can't believe Emma's interview of Winston is being hailed as racist.

Anything else that points to her being racist?

I've seen more evidence of racism in a Deana thread.

Tbf we really cannot win. Close threads and people kick off, leave them and people moan. I cleaned this one up twice..and no doubt I will be in the wrong for this too. I have cleaned another thread 4 times so far yet people keep on with the same petty crap..that one will be closed soon if it keeps going as I am ****ing sick.

Why do people who don't agree with OP ask for threads to be closed :conf:? No one makes anyone post on threads or read them I wouldn't dream of asking for a thread to be closed,i would just not bother looking at it ,and admit it ,you LOVE on season ,its not boring is it :joker:
