[QUOTE=Livia;8660557]I'd like to see some female entrepreneurs pick this up and run with it. A female only golf club, if that's the way you want it boys.

The point is no one is stopping them, but you can bet the very people who are whinging about men only clubs would be whooping and hollering and clapping about it :joker:

The thing is the ban is a blessing in disguise as frankly the course is way too tough for women golfers

I have noticed your post and you are right.
However Formby does welcome male golfers too,not as members, and also Formby is unlikely to be in or want to be in the running for International major tournaments.

In the growing demand for Golf and more and more international tournaments likely too,it is backward looking for Muirhead, the club on this thread, to hopefully want to host major tournaments while still voting to keep women out.

Yes, however, I acknowledge your finds.

You are ignoring the bigger picture in a desperate attempt to score points that no one else cares enough about to keep track of.

What's with all this 'victory/scoring points' nonsense :umm2: I'm only reinforming facts

It may be there's more men's clubs than women's clubs - that isn't the argument. It's that women-only clubs do in fact exist so this faux fury that has became headline news about a private club not having female golfers is rubbish. I'm not arguing that women's clubs are a 'massive problem', I'm just saying that they do in fact exist.

Well no.

It was never about the fact that Men's and Women's clubs exist. I said early on that they can do what they like but they can't expect to make event money if they aren't inclusive.

It was Truth projectile vomitting his misogyny all over the thread that turned it into a Men's Clubs vs Women's Clubs thing and in that argument, if you're going to argue that Women's clubs are a problem like Truth did (along with all the other SILLY things he said) then it's foolish since men's clubs outnumber women's clubs significantly.

Saying that women's clubs exist is just stating the obvious for no good reason.

List them.

You asked for a list so it's not for no good reason

Well no.

It was about whether women-only clubs exist. On the first page you were asking for the names of female-only clubs. Then you were questioning the existence of female-only golf clubs. Both were proven.

In response to the Truth who said there was plenty of female only golf clubs. You managed to name one which contradicts The Truth's statement that there are plenty of female only golf clubs.

Are any of those international sporting venues? I think we've established there are male/female social/voluntary groups.
As for 'whooping and hollering' personally I wouldn't, should the situation be reversed, it would be a step backwards not forwards.

I did NOT say specifically golf clubs, that is simply untrue I said clubs and organizations across the world. There are 1000s fo womens only institutions why are they allowed if mens are not? 100% double standards and hypocrisy

This is a thread about a Golf Club with antiquated rules not being able to make money from all inclusive events because of those rules. Nobody would care otherwise (as stated in the thread) except you because you look for reasons to hate women because you blame them for your own shortcomings. You made it about all Women's clubs and how women are the devil with your bloated numbers and articles written by men who are angry that they've only got an inch to work with.

Gentleman's clubs and women's clubs can operate however they want but the point is that they can't make money from inclusive events if they aren't willing to be inclusive themselves.
