Ahoj! Such a nice welcome. People si often just attack each other in here.

But anyway. I think the person overseeing Aubrey on camera that day A) hates Bear, B) thought he might get warned, C) they really don't have any moral boundaries as to what happens and when to intervene and just want the drama.

I guess that it is quite easy to just let it happen and see what other drama stems from it and when someone complains to ofcom, they can claim that it went unnoticed at first, thus no one stopped it. What a nasty thing to do.

Welcome! We don't really attack each other, the mods won't let us!

I really can't believe they didn't intervene if I was him I'd sue C5

People do, I'm still trying to get to grips with it to be honest, and I don't think I'll ever understand the passion people have for someone they don't know.

Don't spit in anything someone might eat. I don't care who you are, who you think you are, spitting is pretty much an ultimate line to draw, and regardless of the provocation, she should understand that.

When the Scot bloke ( can't think of his name) spat on someone a while ago it was instant dismissal ,and IMO what she's done is worse

It was Dennis. And I tend to agree.

I think BBUK is very nasty indeed, I don't often watch, preferring BBUS.

I agree completely.
It's disgusting behaviour and imagine had this been vice versa, would it have been just a warning then.

Bizarrely, Bear is left more angry with Renee when she reveals she knew about the 'prank'.

In the bedroom, Bear tells Renee about Aubrey’s prank and her apology and Renee tells him that she knew, and was going to tell him. Bear feels like Renee has ‘lied to him’

From Tellymix ^^

She does need to go for that. Honestly, spitting in food is disgusting, I have worked in high profile kitchens and I would 100% take anyone down for that.

This is revolting but what shocks me the most is that the producers thought it was okay to allow him to eat it?! :umm2:

In the early days of BBUS a woman scrubbed the toilet with another guy's toothbrush, production immediately called her to the DR to reprimand her and she was forced to tell him he couldn't use it (she lied and said she accidentally broke it but still). This on a show which is notoriously lenient when it comes to handing out warnings

If I were Bear I'd be ****ing fuming that they sat back and allowed me to eat it knowing full well what she'd done

Yep. If I were anyway ever to be told I had had **** anywhere near my mouth, I would go, righteously, crazy.

being as fair as i can be, those that have worked in food service will know that if someone complains about food served, the minimum they will get from some people is spit in their food, it can be a lot worse!

The moral of the story is never complain or send food back until you have finished your meal, and the best policy is just to not go back

While what she did is not acceptable, its not unusual either.

erinp5 03-08-2016 07:44 PM

Bear is not the issue here, like him or loathe him....what she did was vile, disgusting, and socially unacceptable. She should be out the house and publicly shamed for such a repulsive disgusting action against another human being.

i think if this was normal BB she would have been thrown out. But on CBB they're a lot more lenient.

Nobody I have ever worked with, no matter how angry, would have spat in something and served it. It would have been called, and it would have been sacked on the spot.

I'm sure it happens. There are places I won't eat because I know it happens.
