I kind of understand the lack of build up now as both their deaths were freak accidents. But then they shouldn't have been the characters to die in freak accidents.

Firewire 02-01-2017 03:16 PM

Deaths should matter but theirs didn't. It only really matters to Jack (and the kids), but they are bound to leave soon anyway so it's a total and utter waste of time.

It matters to the audience but that's totally different.

Deaths should mean something and have a lasting impact on the characters around them, like Lucy's.

I want to see if Vincent reacts, they never really seemed to entertain the idea of those two having a bond despite when he first arrived and Ronnie attempted to kill him

Firewire 02-01-2017 03:24 PM

I forgot about that

Kim's jealousy for Veronica <333

Tom4784 02-01-2017 03:26 PM

There probably won't be much of a reaction, last I remember of Vincent they were moving him away from the Gangster storylines which makes their connection kind of pointless.

(So did the producers)

Firewire 02-01-2017 03:27 PM

Vincent is kind of pointless now but I love him and Kim together so I hope he sticks around

Vincent teaching Kim to drive >>>> His gangster era

Tom4784 02-01-2017 03:29 PM

True, Comedy Vincent> tbh.

Ashley. 02-01-2017 03:31 PM

I can imagine Kim and Vincent having more children but I doubt they'd do it

Rob! 02-01-2017 03:32 PM

Yeah and let's not pretend that Vincent is actually convincing as a villain so comedic stuff is probably better all round

No, as long as Kim's around he's likable.

In May 2007, it was decided that the ending of a current storyline featuring characters of Dawn Swann, Dr. May Wright and Rob Minter would be substantially rewritten due to the disappearance of toddler Madeleine McCann. The storyline would have seen May ran off with Dawn and Rob's baby shortly after it had been born.[189] The move has attracted some criticism as to how it relates directly to the disappearance of the toddler,[190] but the BBC has defended its actions by stating that "In the current circumstances it was felt any storyline that included a child abduction would be inappropriate and could cause distress to our viewers."[189]
