I would like to know how dezzy gets away with calling people dear! Its clearly a dig!
He also said to me ok Jan another dig and accused me of spewing my bile about the homeless which is a disgusting thing to say

Cherie like the rest of us want one rule for all including mods.
This is not an attack but freedom of speech on a public forum.

I couldn't agree more Kaz. I was going to write a whole paragraph on why I think that's so... but I don't want to be infracted. Again. For ****-all.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 20-03-2017 11:38 AM

i think the forum is quiet at the moment because it's primarily a BBUK forum and the show ended months ago/doesn't start again for months maybe, it's hardly dead

'Dear' is an insult now? I'll remember to take offense the next time anyone dares insult me with a term of endearment then. How dare anyone be called something as offensive as 'dear'!

I was commenting on your opinions on the homeless and how dismissive you were of them, like with your 'dear' comments, it's ultimately reaching in order to try to get someone you dislike in trouble for no good reason.

If that's what Cherie wants then that's what she's got. Everyone gets treated the same to say that they don't is ignorant since you have no idea about how many infraction points anyone else has, to say that things are unequal is an assumption based on nothing but your own bias against me.

Everyone is treated equally as it is, from friends to other members, I infract all the same and the mods can back me up on that like I can back up their decisions since every infraction and report automatically causes a thread to be made in Tibb Towers which allows us to discuss them all individually. It's impossible for one mod to make biased decisions without drawing the ire of the rest of the mods.

The truth of the matter is that I'm just used as a proxy for people to blame for their own actions because the idea that I spend my days plotting how to best oppress certain groups of people for no apparent reason or benefit is much more plausible than people simply being infracted because they chose to disregard the rules.

It's always someone else's fault isn't it?

Yes dear is an insult, and so is calling someone, Jan what relevance has Jan got with me? its you way of having a dig, how is it that so many people have a problem with same mod over and over?

Add to the fact of not had an infraction for two years, the old trouble making line wont wash.

LT invented ok Jan to be fair, and spewing bile is just another term for speaking disparagingly about something, it's not really offensive as such.
Debates can get heated, I'd say when comments are personal or accusatory they are acted on, and with good reason. You are right though there should never be one rule for one and one for another.

There's not many people that do have a problem with me, in fact it's just the one friend group that consistently attacks me, the last time I remained silent but I noted the amount of support I received and that it was only the group I mentioned before that took issue with me. I won't remain silent here though, I'm not going to be blamed for other people's choices because they can't accept that actions have consequences nor will I be blamed by their friends who have accepted their tales without question just because they think it gives them the right to attack me.

The people that have left have not been hounded off the forum, they've not been banned. They chose to leave because they couldn't handle getting infracted for something they were guilty of. There's no greater conspiracy at hand here, there's no one else to blame.

The myth is still being perpetuated in the 'people you miss' thread, I 've reported it twice.
Like you I refuse to be victimised fo the actions of others.

Where were you blamed? did I mention you until you took it upon yourself to explain the extremely fluid TiBB infraction rules? I don't know why you feel you have to shoulder the blame for the moderation of the forum ? This started off as a fun thread, nothing more, nothing less, just because it evolved into something along the way doesn't alter the original intent.

again your name was never mentioned Kizzy, you came into the thread and asked if you would be blamed I thought you were actually joking, but now I see you weren't,not everything is about you  also I have no idea what you found to report in the "People you miss thread" :umm2:

You were suggesting that moderating wasn't consistent although you had nothing to go on to make that claim, I explained the infraction system so you would stop trying to spread misinformation about it.

Kazanne 20-03-2017 02:53 PM

I think we all have certain friends on here ,it's like life, we will like some people and not others, it's no big deal ,as a forum it should reflect real life,I think some people know my feelings towards them also I get their feelings about me, that is why I do not respond very much to some people, not everyone will get on, but saying that I think the way you feel about people MUST have some knock on reaction when you are in charge of something , obviously you will be kinder to people you like than those you don't, it's just the way it is,people communicate and sometimes infractions given seem quite petty considering what others get away with, I do not think you have to be 'nice' just because someone is a mod, they are no different to us,just have more power on here.

It's not fair and consistent, I am not spreading anything, I am expressing my views on the matter. You could have let Josy respond as I was replying to her comment. You didn't need to step in at all. But you have decided this is all about you for some reason best known to yourself.

Kazanne 20-03-2017 02:58 PM

This is actually a good thread, let people get things out in the open, wont be long before it's closed.
