You can see why Bennett stood down as Green leader.Lucas is a very good speaker.
The Lib Dems tend to have good speakers too.Clegg always impressed me in debates and interviews.I think they're wasted in that party.

Fair play to her.Although you'd think May might've gone in and done it considering the circumstances

Yes, it shouldn't of been her. There were a few times last night when I thought she was going to cry and there was one camera close up where she looked to be in another world. To people who didn't know, that looked like Tory weakness.

As much as I don't like the Tory party, I think it was very unfair to put her on such a tough platform so soon after losing her dad.

The Greens have been tremendous in thrashing out some fantastic economic policies with Labour. If this is a hung parliament, I would love the Greens to come in with Labour.

Green and Labour economics are pretty outstanding. Unfortunately they've had no end of trouble getting that message across the snake pit.

I don't know much about economics but i just can't with the Greens.Far too 'progressive' for me.I'm struggling enough on voting Labour or just not voting at all.

Why do Corbyn fanatics have to hijack everything they're worse than Trump supporters cheering Jeremy and booing Amber Rudd

Withano 01-06-2017 10:38 AM

Tbf, I think she got booed for not being May. I'd imagine the Tories booed too. A lot were disappointed.

Ronald. 01-06-2017 10:41 AM

I enjoyed this but I don't like when they all talk over each other. R.

Economics are the very core of politics. If we don't understand how political arithmetic works, how can we work out the implications of government spending?

Can't see anybody saying no to it....but can't see it helping those that really need it much when it would leave so much less in the over all budget.:joker:

That doesn't explain why someone isn't passionate if they boo though

May will never do a debate. it would be too easy to blow her up since she comes undone if anyone pushes her to talk about specifics. Catchphrases won't work in a debate scenario.

Passion can be expressed in lots of different ways though

Or she will just let the other leaders show themselves up again like last night

Denver 01-06-2017 01:05 PM

It is hilarious Corbyn is still refusing to clarify his links to terrorism
