Even then it wasn’t really significant? Sure, the clip of them telling her the news received criticism but the whole Angie/Tiff situation was pretty well received

No I'm saying, getting CBB17 type of ratings (eg. mid 2s). but having people moan about the show and how it's disgusting and a disgrace etc.... more like CBB18 really.

I wasn't talking about CBB17 getting backlash, what I'm saying is, lets say irt climbs half a million, but the reaction is not good compared to what it is now.

*mazedsalv** 06-01-2018 03:34 PM

Sorry to harp on about CBB, but excl +1 the show got...
Celebrity Big Brother (21:02-22:00): 1.43m (6.6%) exc. +1

And including it got 1.45m? So it got only 20k on +1? Is this correct? Seems odd.

I still think this series will have one of the biggest catchup audiences this year x

Wasn't that said for BB18 and that still flopped including the catch ups?

*mazedsalv** 06-01-2018 03:42 PM

BREAKING...

Ratings were WRONG.

Rzt made a typo on his part... the first show actually got 1.59m, NOT 1.45m.

Better!!

Well yeah but everyone was saying it was the worst series ever and had lots of negativity for the first few weeks which would’ve made viewers already watching stop and stopped other viewers from catchingup if they missed the launch etc

Odd how much a difference 150k makes!

Ooooo me likey but why did the second show drop so much? Was it just because it was on late?

Cal. 06-01-2018 03:49 PM

Now we just need Ann to become a crazy bitch and raise the ratings like Kim!

People probably decided to watch it on catch up instead of waiting 30 mins

Probably, it has always been the case, back in C4, sometimes the first show of an eviction would drop 1m in the interview episode. I don't think we need to worry about that second show drop. Friday late 2nd show ratings add a lot of timeshift. For me, for example, if i'm out on a Friday I'd watch the first hour, but would miss the 2nd part because i go out normally between 9:45pm and 10:30pm.

Brilliant! The positivity this series has so far, I can’t see it dropping much more. Tonight is Saturday so I expect it’ll go sub 1m tonight, but from Sunday onwards, hopefully we’ll get some stability

Haven’t watched a single ep live myself, they’ve all been on catch up :pipe:

If I remember correctly, some fridays in CBB17 added about 400k to the first episode and 600k to the second, and the second usually ended up ahead of the first in official numbers

HBIC 06-01-2018 06:57 PM

The first show rating is better with +1. Still disappointing for the second show though.

Hopefully tonight manages at least 1.1m.

Maxxie. 06-01-2018 07:22 PM

Going against the voice tonight, why should it not start at 9:30?

It used to avoid shows like this and xfactor... it’s such a similar audience too, it’ll definately hurt it

Eddie. 07-01-2018 02:20 AM

I'm almost certain this series would rate high due to how GOOD it actually is.

supertv247 07-01-2018 09:06 AM

Last night's show averaged 1.4 million - up 200k on last year and the joint most watched Saturday episode in 2 years!!
