That's more US universities. UK ones are still all about "bants"... And as such, UK students often find things like controversial jokes and pubs full of gollywogs "hilarious".

Its very much UK unis also. Safe spaces, no platforming and seem to be completely anti-freespeech to boot.

Obviously uni students are not a hive mind or anything, much like any other group of people..but I wish this was just American nonsense. Sadly it is not.

Its been a long time since ive had a proper rant on here...make it happen.

But it wouldn't matter because the people in it are in exile from the rest of the forum anyway, and other members can't see it.

I dont know that place, people part pf tibb towers dont go there.

I adored my golliwog when I was a kid and I don't remember ever associating them with black people, to me it was just a coloured doll, woulnd't have mattered if it were green. I bet most black people aren't offended by them, its just pc brigade again
