I never said I think Megan is trouble I was commenting on what someone else said about her

There is no point to bringing up Widdecombe referring to Meghan as trouble unless you think current events are examples of her causing trouble? I.e. Widdecombe is proven right.

If not, what is the point?

Whatever is going on with Meghan doesn't suddenly mean Widdecombe is not racist or homophobic or any other ignorant remark she has come out with.

Shut up! Harry and Meghan not wanting to be senior royals PROVES beyond a doubt that Ann Widdecombe was not a bigot, but in fact, a prophet! A beacon of truth heralding the future of the royal family when literally no one else could see what was right in front of them. A saint, even. Cast down unfairly by a baying public :fist:

That's obviously not only unacceptable to his family, but to the presentation of the country as a whole.

I'm not even a royalist, but not sure what people are expecting from them. He's not the first man to make decisions for the benefit of his family, so not sure it's an issue that has to be either "she's ruined him" or "he's an under the thumb cuck".

...I think as well as it being an understandable family decision...for me he would have always been the ‘most likely’ Royal to have stepped back like this because of his mother’s experiences ...he’s never seemed to sit easy with ‘Royalty’, what royalty entails, for me...

Widdecombe may have said a bigotted thing or a homophobic thing (due to her batcrazy religion) but to just label her homophobic and bigoted each time she is mentioned as as silly as saying Liar Marsh every tine we refer to him as he tells lies now and then or TS the bigot because he said something quite bigoted in Motherwell in 2005

and yes she was right about markle

I was in Dundee from 2005 - 2009 and we won't talk about the things I said and did there. Not ever.

Well we weren't the ones to bring her into the discussion along with words like bigot.

Also, she is not labelled racist homophobic or bigoted over one thing she said decades ago, LiarTrumpet. They are her existing views.

Whether it's a view that stems from her mother, her religion, or a bad trip on acid in 1965 is neither here nor there.

...I don’t believe Anne Widdecombe was ‘right’...didn’t she say that she didn’t trust Meghan..?...Harry is responsible for his own decisions also and they both make their decisions for their family...so ‘trust’ isn’t really relevant to anything...Meghan hasn’t proved herself to be an ‘untrustworthy person..’...

Cherie 09-01-2020 01:58 PM

Harry more than anyone knew what he was bringing Meghan into, so I blame him really, but he went along with the Princessy wedding and now that all there is to look forward to are meet and greets in Cleehthorpes on a cold Wednesday afternoon the appeal for Meghan has worn off, she is probably a bit homesick as well, especially now she has a child.

i think her nose is well put of joint as Kate is the star that everyone loves and markle is relatively unpopular

That arsehole morgan had this to say re harry protecting meghan from the invasive tabloids after Diana
Quote:

a) Diana ,who regularly colluded with the paparazzi & newspapers to promote herself, was killed by a drunk driver.
b) Harry's not the only person to lose a parent when he was young.
Says the arse who was a part of the problem at Mirror, running after invasive exclusives and tapping people's phones.
Perpetrators claiming moral high ground over victims.

You blame Harry... but then immediately saddle Meghan with the blame that now the honeymoon period is over she's off.

I don't think there's any evidence of him being drunk, he said he was "dazzled by the sun"?

...other people losing parents when they were children is not really relevant...there isn’t a set rule about how a trauma/a loss/a shock etc will impact on one person as oppose to someone else...I always think that’s the most bizarre thing to say...it’s obvious from the very few times that Harry has agreed to discuss his mother, how deeply it still affects his emotions... and already, the media have been very unkind to Meghan...so all of this would have been considered by both of them in their decision...

Piers hacked a voicemail from the driver's wife asking if he wanted wine with dinner and assumed?
