Eurovision won't be cancelled, that was already known

our executive producer Sietse Bakker said now, the participants for the contest won't need to vaccinate before the contest, they more rely on quick testing now, which has proven effective in other major tv events

but the decision on which scenario they go for will be made begin february

ERT's committee who will select Stefania's entry

ERT, although initially orienting itself to a choice with the participation of the public, ultimately because of the pandemic that makes it difficult for all television productions, but also in order to buy time that is important this year, proceeded once again to an internal choice of our participation.

As you have read in previous articles,the committee is largely the same as last year, having of course some changes, based on the changes of persons made in recent months at the radio station of Agia Paraskevi. The Committee is therefore composed of:

PAPADIMITRIOU DIMITRI – Composer, Member of the Board of Directors of ERT S.A. (President) 2. ADAM Petros – Music Producer (Member)
3. MARKAKI Giorgos – Journalist (Member)
4. PETRIDIS Giannis – Music Producer (Member)
5.
KOZAKOU MARIA – Director of the Second Programme of the NRA, commentator of the competition (Member) 6. ANTONOPOULOS LEONIDAS – Director Kosmos

The last two members were added to this year's committee, while the top four were last year. All the members of the committee are people of read prestige, with a long career in the field of music. Their choice is a guarantee that the promotion of our participation will be made with complete objectivity, taking as the sole criterion the song by which our country will have the best possible representation in Rotterdam.

All the meetings of the committee were assisted by the Director of Corporate Communication of ERT,Dora Handakis, who is also responsible for the Eurovision project in the new organization chart of Greek public television, but also by Sofia Dranidou, head of the Department of International Relations.

Greece: Stefania's song is called ''Last Dance''

Eurovisionfun is one of the lucky ones who listened to the song and we agree that this targeting is completely realistic. The song is faithful to the musical current of the time (80s pop), but with a modern orchestration, highlighting in the best way the voice skills of Stefania. It could very well be a song by Dua Lipa, while it also stands out lyrically.

Theyre one of the best in Eurovision. They literally had one bad entry in the 2010s and that was Rybak and even that had its charm.

no no, with that post i meant, long time since i've seen fab artist wise line ups like this from those countries

i am gonna follow all 41 countries their selections, but the ones with NF's i am (like always) excited about the most

serbia's song nf for Hurricane i also look forward to, i mean they are a fab act, their own pussycat dolls (hope song is in serbian though, their english is kinda cringey, do think hasta la vista would've q'd in serbian but nq'd in english)

Israel's song for Eden, well all of those 3 makes her a bit of a hebrew dua lipa, and also mainly in hebrew (combined with english, and one also with a bit of french)

Azerbaijan is seeking songwriters (via mail) who could come up with lyrics for Efendi's entry, hope she'll deliver again like she did with cleopatra

Ireland, Lesley Roy again, hope it is more Lesley herself, less Katy Perry vibe

Belgium, Hooverphonic but not with Luka, but with their original singer Geike again (she was also the one behind their biggest hit ''mad about you'')
