We shouldn't expect politicians to be paragons of virtue, everyone strays

Im not interested in his affair

he was at work breaking the very rules he set

its a plain and simple sacking offense for a minister in charge of Health

bots 25-06-2021 04:37 PM

we know the whole government has flouted the rules. I bet that there is enough dirt on all of them so that sacking hopeless would just make their own positions more vulnerable and that's why Boris has full confidence in him

arista 25-06-2021 04:42 PM

Its now over to all the Newspapers
to Bring The Cock Down
and get him out of his job.

Exactly yes they are , and he's a hypocrite .

Johnson PM is backing him
as he has no one to take his place................

No doubt Boris would back him. He cheated on his last wife when she was getting cancer treatment.

Just scuzzy the lot of them.

Tom Bower (Wrote Books on Johnson) just said
he must fall on his Sword.
He also said it will damage the Conservative Party

Its just a matter of time.

As funny as the memes and stuff are I can’t help but think at the same time it’s actually really embarrassing. These people are supposed to be in charge and represent our country yet they are literally breaking the rules they imposed on us; rules that were put in place to try and minimise the spread of Covid, save lives and protect the nhs.

It’s actually disgraceful and I think it’ll be even worse if their are no repercussions towards Hancock for breaking the rules.

There’s a lot of people out there who have lost loved ones to Covid, countless nurses who’ve had to work exhausting shifts and I just feel it’s a bit of a slap in the face to those people. Just my opinion of course.

The memes are also going to make his wife feel worse :(

To be honest, I think Boris will keep him in the post long enough to throw him under the bus at the enquiry and pin all the failings on him. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't in on that plan either. He won't resign and lose his pension rights either.

Just murky politician rubbish as usual....

Well yes, it's just your opinion.
However in my view too you are totally right in all you've said above.

Very strong points all through.

They just seem to have no shame or morals whatsoever.

The affair aside.
His competence has always been questioned.
With that in tatters and his now dubious morals and integrity shattered.
It's amazing this PM has not instantly removed him from his privileged parliamentary position.

Then again, were Johnson to sack him for this.
Then he really ought to sack himself as PM too.

Crimson Dynamo 25-06-2021 05:31 PM

The fact he hasn't instantly resigned this morning is utterly astonishing and shows you what utter contempt he has for the GBP.

Yes it’s going to be particularly tough for his wife and children.

Yh I think when the time of the enquiry comes he’s definitely the scapegoat and it doesn’t really surprise me that he hasn’t been removed from his position yet or chose to resign himself.

Crimson Dynamo 25-06-2021 05:47 PM

telling us how deadly the virus is and then happily perhaps infecting someone and killing them?

manslaughter?

Crimson Dynamo 25-06-2021 05:57 PM

and btw if boris and hancock ever think they can lockdown the UK again they have another thing coming

thankfully this has ended any future winter lockdowns, because it aint happening anymore

bots 25-06-2021 06:01 PM

i don't think anyone is outraged at his behaviour, we have become climatised to this sort of stuff. No-one really viewed him with anything other than contempt already, so he can't sink further in peoples estimations of him. Also, if it was considered such a serious matter, there just wouldn't be the memes and general joviality thats is abundant on twitter. That's not how the world works. That's why he is still in a job

yes but none will now listen to a word he says and that is surely integral to his job

he is like a spitting image puppet now
