listen LT, i will make this very clear so you understand. I won't let you get away with your racist **** unchallenged anymore. Enough is enough. If the mods are ok with the disgusting stuff you post, I am not. If that leads to me being banned, so be it, make it permanent.

It's very important to understand that DEI is right, moral and good. Anyone
who disagrees with DEI is wrong, immoral and bad.

Also, DEI isn't happening. Anyone who says it is happening is wrong, immoral
and bad. Because DEI is good. And also not happening.

How does the dreadful Camilla Tominley put these two mixed race African American women together. I wonder what it is shes focused on.

Why does your focus go there? Why does mentioning the FACT that they are both mixed race within an article lead to the thought "Racist article" - it's getting ridiculous. The black TV presenter Nana Akua was saying much the same the other day about Kamala/Meghan.
They do have some similarities - they look quite alike in their facial FEATURES and they have similar PERSONALITY traits in how they present themselves, though I find Kamala less fake and less dislikeable.

“The penchant for spouting word salad; the slightly awkward misplaced laughter; the courting of chat show hosts; the celebrity iPhone moments; the loathing of Donald Trump; the unfortunate bullying allegations.
And the rhetoric! Both Meghan and Kamala spout this sort of pseudo-spiritual psychobabble that sounds perfectly progressive but doesn’t always make that much sense.”

In those respects, 2 peas in a pod.

Bang on right Jet

2 total fakes who do not believe half the BS they come out with - no conviction and devious and self serving too

I must say, the thought of Meghan Markle ever thinking she could be President is hilarious (if that is true).

You know DEI is being used as a racist trope. You echo racist tropes all over this forum. Do you know what that makes YOU?

They have nothing in common except, they are both mixed race and come from California. Why are they being put together. You tell me. I didn't do it, Camilla Tomingley did and I expanded on it. Why do you think she went there. And, I'm asking you. Give me an opinion.

The Penchant for spouting word salad etc is garbage. There are hundreds of people CT could have said that about why did she pick another African American women who polarises the community

Very disappointed that so many in this thread are asking basic questions or making basic points.

There was a reply to my post that was deleted. I'd love to know who posted it what it said, so if anyone wants to PM me, I'd appreciate it.

Where do you get this stuff from? I'd guess that a month ago you didnt even know what the term meant, now you have a detailed definition that I'm sure I wont find in the dictionary or on Wikipedia, but only on the darker side of the internet. I'd be a bit more mindful of those sites, if I were you.

Ooh I have some learning to share on this topic Bots!

1) Whether the mods are OK with it behinfmd the scenes or not I don't know, but I do know they won't do anything about it no matter how often it's called to their attention

Hiwever

On the plus side

2) The same applies to calling it out, so I wouldn't worry about doing so and would in fact encourage everyone to do it as loudly and rudely as possible.

Power to the people.

The fact is that Kamala was re-elected several times in her roles and was then elected a senator and then picked as VP. She has more experience of the job than Trump or Vance, who has been a senator for 1 term. That is anything but a DEI hire, but why let the truth get in the way of some good old misogynistic racism

She has been democratically elected more times than Vance has changed his name (Vance 4 times)

Well that is your opinion, which is fine. I’ve already said IMO I think they have definite similarities. As does Nana Akua and some others I’ve seen on youtube).
Camilla T went there, I would think, because both women guarantee clicks; even more so paired together and she has to come up with something for her latest column. Besides, she isn’t a fan of either of them, I think. (There are white people she doesn’t like also.) :hee:
Column sorted.
Why does the colour of their skin even matter?

every VP is selected for what benefits they bring to the ticket, that's how it has always been. The exact opposite of a DEI hire

I had to look up Nana Akua. Thats the GB TV presenter. So, two GB news presenters have made this comparison and you're looking at me and asking how I'm making the connection? Two people who work for the same company have made the connection not me.

Why does their skin colour matter. Ask the two GB news presenters or give it a little thought and you'll figure it out.

I think you are reading too much into it.
Your immediate focus was on racism, mine was on the similarities, some of which I agreed with. I didn't notice any racism. Different people, different priorities. It's all good.

I dont think I am reading to much into it.. Two presenters from the same source comparing the same two people. Thats not a coincidence and did they not think people would notice. WHy not compare VP Harris to any one of a number of senators like senator Liz Warren, Amy Klobuchar Marianne Williamson etc she has much more in common

As for priorities, only you know what you're inferring just like the two presenters from the same source

Nice to discuss this with you

Like I already said, I have seen several people on youtube talking about their similarities too, so I don’t know who started the ball rolling. I doubt Nana and Camilla got together over a bottle of wine to come up with some devious racial plot.
When I said my priority, I meant I didn't notice a racist angle, I was interested in the personalities being discussed. I’m fascinated by people’s personalities, famous or otherwise.
It’s the main reason I read here far more than I post. I’m always all agog to read the opinions of each of the posters on here. All the different personalities. Love it.
So you read too much into that as well, with your wink emoticon.
