Both have a certain something to offer but I think the 'Croft' wins the day.

Red wine or White wine

Janette 18-10-2003 11:37 PM

A dry white wine wins every time for me!

Sam or Jason (Pop Idol tonight - I was gutted!)

:bawling:

rachb 19-10-2003 12:41 AM

Jason I voted for him:bawling:

next one :

roses or carnations

LEE 19-10-2003 12:53 AM

Roses  Nice a romantic.

Roses or Quality Street

kaphc 19-10-2003 10:14 AM

Quality Street - I like the toffee pennies!

Staying with the Christmas theme:

"It's a Wonderful Life" or "Holiday Inn"

Janette 19-10-2003 12:19 PM

It's a Wonderful Life - one of my favourite films ever!

Laurel & Hardy or Morcambe & Wise

kaphc 20-10-2003 09:48 AM

Got to be Morecambe and Wise - they are comedy geniuses and I love that sketch they did preparing breakfast to the stripper song!

Next choice:

Friends or Cold Feet

rachb 20-10-2003 11:16 AM

Friends I love it:thumbs: Joey And Chandler are so funny!

next one GMTV or RiSE

BusyBee 20-10-2003 03:22 PM

GMTV cos I think Eamonn Holmes is real cuddly

Rain or Snow

Sticks 20-10-2003 05:44 PM

Rain, because after its over its over and it does not hang around for weeks and people do not through rain balls at you and you do not have to gawp at rude creations of rain men

OK

Feudal Undemocratic Monarchy based on accident of birth or a Decocratically elected presidency (along the lines of that of the Irish Republic)

Boris 20-10-2003 05:49 PM

Well....when i think about the USA and the presidents they have had of late I think I would prefer to stick with 'our' method. They really have no power of their own and are able to curb the extreme instincts of others. A way to avoid a 'power merchant' from having his/her own way !

Seaside holidays or countryside holidays

:spin2:

kaphc 20-10-2003 09:09 PM

Seaside holidays!! Nothing beats a bit of sea air, some candyfloss and a beach hut.

Next ..... (getting a bit mad here!)

Raindrops on roses or whiskers on kittens?

Sticks 20-10-2003 09:39 PM

Whiskers on :cat:

As you can easily wash off the pet food from the all too eager moggie, whereas with the other one you have soggy chocolates

OK try this way

Feudalism or Democracy

BusyBee 21-10-2003 03:25 PM

Feudalism - a place for everyone and everyone in their place!

Crunchie or Turkish Delight

(my choice if I cannot resist my temptation to go to the shop)

kaphc 21-10-2003 04:21 PM

I hate Turkish Delight, so it has to be that Friday feeling of Crunchie!

Shop online or shop in shops

BigSister 21-10-2003 05:42 PM

Shop in shops as I have never shopped online:hugesmile:
Next
World Cup(Football) or Rugby World Cup

BusyBee 21-10-2003 05:59 PM

Has to be World Cup (football) no choice in our house with three football fanatics.

Laughter or tears

Romantic Old Bird 21-10-2003 08:28 PM

Tears.......of Laughter!!

Or is that cheating??

Indian takeaway or Chinese takeaway?

Sticks 21-10-2003 08:42 PM

Chinese

You just made me feel like going and getting some egg fried rice

Must resist

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED........

Oh no its the Borg

Kirk or Piccard

Romantic Old Bird 21-10-2003 08:47 PM

Mmm, now that is a poser....

I like them both for different reasons.

But I'd rather have Jean Luc taking me through a meteor field.......

let's stay with St

Spock OR Data??

Boris 21-10-2003 09:44 PM

SPOCK every time.
My fantasy is to make his ears curl with passion and this face smile.

On the same theme Klingons or Ferengi

Sticks 21-10-2003 10:15 PM

Klingons - as there is now an official Klingon language you can learn plus there was a project to translate the bible into Klingon

OK

DS9 or Voy

James 21-10-2003 10:24 PM

DS9, best every Trek series imo. I liked the on-going storyline and the fact that all the problems of an episode weren't solved by being in a completely different place the next week like Voyager and other Trek shows.

As for Enterprise....

Next this and that:

Is the glass half full or half empty?

Mervi 22-10-2003 12:01 PM

Half full, because I'm always an optimist!

A dog or a cat?

BusyBee 22-10-2003 01:28 PM

Dog - I'm going to have a red setter when I retire to my life of luxury.
