Someone in a coma and on a life support machine- they can't think, by definition they aren't a living independent being. Are they still a living person who deserves to have no rights or right to life?

I don't think we can go around and brand people as this and that just because they haven't had (or got if you use my example) the chance to live on their own and it leads to loooooads of grey areas.

(Not attacking you/your opinion btw if thats how it comes across just questioning/comparing stuff to see how others view that)
no offence taken at all man....if the person on the life support machine has a chance of having their "life" resumed and have a good quality of life then fair its a different case. When a baby is just a bunch of cells and dna and not even developed a brain then I dont see the problem, its still just part of the woman and they should have the choice not to go through with developing that into a life. I guess its the point where we decide its a life thats debateable. I think the limit could be lowered bearing in mind babies can survive from that point though yes.
