Mokka 06-07-2015 09:24 PM

None of the new girls are all that

Yeah right Jordan's ex isn't here to stir it up

Johnnyuk123 06-07-2015 09:31 PM

Jordan's ex is draggin him down a peg or two. lol

Mokka 06-07-2015 09:33 PM

what a waste of air time that was

Jack_ 07-07-2015 04:37 AM

SCREAMING @ 'she's loud, she's controversial...and now...she's making pancakes!' about Cally :laugh3:

Awkward between Jordan and Jasmine :umm2: and omg YAAAAAAAAAASSSSS at them bringing Omar back <333 and the twins kind of, hope Omar gets picked

Headie 07-07-2015 12:27 PM

Ew Omar needs to leave and never come back kthxbai

Johnnyuk123 07-07-2015 08:02 PM

Get off Omar!

Jack_ 07-07-2015 08:15 PM

Why can't Omar stay but the twins have a chance to? I know they weren't evicted by a public vote but idc, the votes were free and Omar is better so who cares what the public think

Johnnyuk123 07-07-2015 08:19 PM

Twins to be dumped one more time. :joker::joker::joker:

Calderyon 07-07-2015 08:30 PM

Girls (Lauren, Hannah and Zoe) talking about hj techniques. And then Jess giving a bj/hj to Max.

Entertainment at itīs best, i guess.

Oh, it was Hannah to John then.

Mokka 07-07-2015 11:05 PM

So I have been thinking this for a week or so now... and I just finished watching yesterdays and haven't seen tonight's yet, but Johnathon is pretending to be everyone's best friend but he is really just getting in there to stir up doubt in other peoples relationships. He convinced Josh to break up with the Barbie girl... him and Hannah freaked ( like had panicked looks on there faces) out when Jordan and Zoe became a couple and now he is feeding doubt to Jordan, he is counselling Lauren now to be cautious b/c he doesn't want any more competition.

Waiting to see how he tries to break up Cally and Luis now

Jack_ 08-07-2015 01:36 AM

Just finished the last fifteen minutes, was there no 'tomorrow' preview or was it just cut off of my ITV Player watch?

Interesting points, this is not something I had picked up on. I don't think it's anything to look down upon though, it is a game and if the goal is to be the last couple standing then I don't really see any problem with what he's doing. In the real world yeah, but on a gameshow no

No, I don't look down on game play persay... I don't actually believe any of the relationships formed in there have any base in reality... But wow, he is actually really good at the game play, and I don't know how to feel about his "we are a family" mantra. I kinda feel bad for all the people he is dupeing

Headie 08-07-2015 01:07 PM

So the 2 newbies have a secret mission? What was it?

Johnnyuk123 08-07-2015 08:10 PM

Way to go Max. Impress Jess by bringing Naomi up.:joker::joker::joker:

Johnnyuk123 08-07-2015 08:38 PM

Zoe has already ridden a bull. :joker::joker::joker:

Jack_ 08-07-2015 08:44 PM

Jess and Max best couple 2015 xo

Jack_ 08-07-2015 08:45 PM

i wrote JOSH AND MAX OMG SCREAMING can you imagine

Amy Jade 08-07-2015 08:57 PM

first time ive watched this since Naomi left and its awful, all the originals left to be dull to the end and frankly Lauren is ugly no wonder none of the lads fancy her

Johnnyuk123 08-07-2015 09:01 PM

That is 3-0 to Love Island on the sex in the house front.

Jack_ 08-07-2015 09:12 PM

Oh God not vote to evict again when will they learn?! We could've got rid of Cally and Luis who are ****ing dull under VTS

Although having said that the results last week were messy as hell so who knows what'll happen. I have a feeling it's gonna be Jess and Max though which would be AWFUL

Johnnyuk123 08-07-2015 09:58 PM

Jess and Max through would be AMAZING!

Jack_ 10-07-2015 03:12 AM

Just caught up, I enjoyed the drama the lie detector brought but three things:

1) Why do TV shows and people for that matter continue to put weight into this piece of **** when it's not even that accurate?

2) How come it was only the guys that had to go through it and the girls were absolved of any involvement?

3) I thought this was a game and references were being made to it being a game. How the **** are you supposed to play a game if your lies risk being exposed though this (even if it's not 100% accurate)? That totally defeats the point of the show ffs

Anyway, decent enough result I think. Was convinced after that edit that Jess and Max would go after a surge of votes but thankfully not, and I'm glad it wasn't Lauren and Josh either. Obviously Luis and Cally should have gone but I'll settle for Zoe and Jordan :spin2:

Jack_ 10-07-2015 03:13 AM

also I thought Iain's stand up segment at the top of the show was funny, and James Jordan and Ola is such a random booking for the panel

Jack_ 15-07-2015 02:13 AM

I don't know if anyone's still watching this (it kinda went downhill after Naomi left really, although it's had some good moments) but Jess and Max NEED to win :flutter: mainly cause Jess' arc would be amazing and so deserving but they're definitely the best couple left <3

I'm hoping they announce placings but I get a horrible feeling they'll just do the winner, or maybe 2nd and 1st at best. I had a really bad feeling the other day that maybe the odds could be defied and Jon and Hannah's obvious victory (which I'm still anticipating) could be stopped by Luis and Cally since I can just imagine people being like 'aw they're so sweet xx' and the public results on this show have been so weird and random, but surely that can't happen?

As long as it's not them two I'll be fairly happy, even Josh and Lauren deserve to win for me.

Amy Jade 15-07-2015 02:22 AM

I haven't watched an episode since I caught the end of Zoe and Jordan going, again I saw the end and jeez this show is seriously abysmal and I usually love trash.

If it gets a 2nd series it seriously needs an overhaul, there are so many undeserving couples left and big characters going every week or not being given a chance because the oldies stuck together.

Naomi going was the stupidest decision when she added so much compared to all the girls really, apart from Jess and maybe Hannah to a lesser extent.

Jack_ 15-07-2015 02:31 AM

I hope it's recommissioned but I'm not so sure that it will based on the figures, maybe the levels of Twitter traffic will play a role in the decision though.

It needs an overhaul and it basically needs to be more consistent. This series was great in the first half and as much as I have enjoyed the last couple of weeks, it has definitely gone downhill and wasn't as good as the start. And as far as I'm concerned, it's primarily because of the public vote. I predicted they'd ruin things as per usual and to be quite honest they did. First Omar and then Naomi...disastrous, especially the latter whose lack of presence has been extremely noticeable over the last few days. Even not giving people like Chris 2.0 or the shouty girl whose name I can't remember (Becky? idk) a chance, and there's someone else I'm missing as well. The results have been so bizarre for the most part and not all that great. The fact that Luis and ****ing Cally survived a vote to save is reason enough to scrap it.

The show was at its best in the early weeks with the idea behind the recoupling and having to be in a couple to stay in the game, because that's what it made it - a game. The decision between whether to couple up with someone you don't really like to try and survive as long as you can to win the money, or to go with someone you genuinely like but risk leaving earlier. The idea that people could be playing each other for money on a show like this is far more interesting and exciting and is something that was lost in the last few weeks.

Bring it back, make the recoupling a consistent part of the game and the way eliminations work for the most part and then maybe just let the public decide who wins and that's it, but tbqh I'd be up for a jury vote amongst the eliminated contestants myself.

Jason. 15-07-2015 02:32 AM

I agree. It has gone downhill since Naomi left. I haven't even watched the last five episodes as I've found it boring. Hence, why I haven't commented on this thread in a week. I'll tune in for the final, tomorrow though.

Jess and Max are also my winning couple. I hate to use the word, but Jess really has been through a journey, and went from hated to loved. Great redemption arc if she wins. :fc:

Hope Jon and Hannah don't win. They've had it so easy from Day dot. And haven't been through as much as all the other Islanders have. Them winning would be a predictable and disappointing end to a good series. Luis and Cally are dull. I like Lauren, but her and Josh are not really a couple, and I don't want Josh to win. So Max and Jess it is.

Either way, it's been a fantastic series to watch. Not as a good as the original show back in 2005/2006. But they've really surprised me with the revamp, as I wasn't expecting to enjoy it. But it's been a fun watch over the last 6 weeks, especially considering I gave up on BB weeks ago. It's also gone quick too.

Hope it returns next year for another series. I mean it is ITV2's highest rated show. So who knows?

Jason. 15-07-2015 02:40 AM

I agree with Jack again, (we're on a roll here).

If it does come back for a 2nd series, it needs to be more consistent. This series has had far too many newbies. And half of them were irrelevant. Like Chris 2.0, Beth, Ben, Poppy, and Travis.

They should've stopped with the newbies after Max went in, TBH. Also, the evictions and format are not consistent like how they were in the original show ten years ago. One week, the Islanders would decide who leaves, the next the public decide, and vice versa. Not to mention the number of evictees per week. One week, 2 people are evicted, the next, 5 people are evicted.

The format needs to be more consistent, as it's been messy and looks like they make it up as they go along.

widerlet 15-07-2015 09:08 AM

I actually really liked the past week. The challenges are ridiculous and we know their personalities well now so it digs deeper. I also loved the parent visits...but ill admit that was mostly because all the parents said that jess was great and Naomi was a twat.

Baby task was hilarious. Josh is such a brat!he spent the whole day in bed whinging and ruined Lauren ' s bday tbh..jess and max are cute despite his skeeziness earlier in the season

widerlet 15-07-2015 09:09 AM

Also I was wondering where everyone disappeared :( this is the only forum I've found to discuss love island. Glad everyone is back

Jack_ 15-07-2015 08:29 PM

Was surprised to see they're live from inside the villa tonight but it looks amazing actually! Really jealous of the audience members who get to mill around it, must be really surreal and cool :amazed:

loooooool @ Caroline just shouting 'HERPES!!!!' at Omar as they went to a break then :joker: also YAS at Iain supporting Jess and Max (and I'm pretty sure Caroline is too) <3

I've cast two votes on the app but sadly I think after this proposal it puts Jon and Hannah's win beyond any doubt :(

Calderyon 15-07-2015 08:31 PM

John and Hannah will win, but then again they have been the winners for 5 and a half weeks or so.

It been better than BB16 and has a much better future i would believe than BB tbh. But then again itīs a fresh program while BB is old and badly produced.

Pete. 15-07-2015 08:32 PM

I'm watching nnn. Me boosting they're ratings up?

Pete. 15-07-2015 08:33 PM

This house is so BB14

Amy Jade 15-07-2015 08:40 PM

even if they split up 10 minutes after leaving Jon and Hannah have played a good game

Calderyon 15-07-2015 08:43 PM

Thatīs how you get those votes. They wonīt last though, reality relationships rarely do.

Jack_ 15-07-2015 08:46 PM

Hoping they announce the placings with this much time left but not expecting it

Amy Jade 15-07-2015 08:50 PM

howling at Max and Jess getting most cheers. Hannah looked fuming

Pete. 15-07-2015 08:50 PM

This is so bad nn
