Imagine still supporting him like this when he basically called for foreign aid against Biden on national TV.

Marie Yovanovitch told the House committees investigating impeachment that Trump had pushed for her removal as ambassador to Ukraine based on “false claims”, according to the New York Times.

The Times reports:

Marie L. Yovanovitch, who was recalled as the American ambassador to Ukraine, testified to impeachment investigators on Friday that a top State Department official told her that President Trump had pushed for her removal for months even though the department believed she had ‘done nothing wrong.’

In a closed-door deposition that could further fuel calls for Mr. Trump’s impeachment, Ms. Yovanovitch delivered a scathing indictment of his administration’s conduct of foreign policy, warning that private influence and personal gain have usurped diplomats’ judgment, threatening to undermine the nation’s interests and drive talented professionals out of public service.

According to a copy of her opening statement obtained by The New York Times, the longtime diplomat said she was ‘incredulous’ that she was removed as ambassador ‘based, as far as I can tell, on unfounded and false claims by people with clearly questionable motives.’

Trump will be impeached but unlikely run out of office. Pence is in it up to his neck so President Mike Pence will hopefully never happen.

It looks like John Bolton was the source of some of the leaks. It was obvious there was an insider involved in all these leaks.

Mulvaney appears to confirm Ukraine aid was tied to probe into 2016 election
Is Trump Cheif of Staff Mulvaney trying to get distance himself? Remember Nixons Chief of staff ended up in jail.

Twosugars 17-10-2019 07:23 PM

Mulvaney was involved with Giuliani and other crooks, he ran it from the WH

Impeachment vote happening as we speak.

Anyone been following it? There are witnesses who claim Donnie said much more on his infamous phone call than he is letting on. Two witnesses have testified as such and Donnie boy Ambassador Vondland conveniently doesnt recall so many details of his role in the Ukraine shake down.

Its getting to the stage where GOP lawmakers are struggling to defend Trump and its driving him crazy.

Its starting to get good. Doubt he'll be removed but he'll be impeached now. He'll always have that stain on his presidency.

Trump needs someone to attack and so far the dems have skillfully only given him difficult targets, loyal patriots, but he's still tried. His tactics are so basic at times.

Bottom line, it all depend on his GOP minions actually doing something and I cant really see them doing anything unless the revelations become too much. Election year next year and some of them are in difficult seats. They cant p*ss off Trumps base.

I'm with you on that.
We shall see. Nixon also started with a strong support. As you say, it all depends what comes out. But there's potential.
GOP has sunk so low but they could be swayed if public opinion turns against them.
On the face of it Donnie has done so much worse than Nixon. It is a high treason territory.

Agree. Trumps crimes are much worse than Nixon. I'm curious to see who he attacks though.

Former Ukraine ambassador says she felt ‘threatened’ by Trump and Giuliani

So glad they're releasing pieces of the secret testimony. The problem with the Mueller report was that it was so hush that when it came out it was too much for most people to read and so the redacted version was given too much credit. This tactic is much better. I cant wait to see what Donnie says about this, he's gonna deny it but at least 12 Government employees have corroborated each other testimony regarding his actions. It'll be hard to deny it all and call them all 'haters'.

Impeachment Testimony Cheat Sheet

Quote:

Gordon Sondland updates his testimony with the Congressional Committee and the details of the four page update and transcript are made public. In the sworn addendum, Sondland claimed he had “refreshed [his] recollection” after reading the testimony given by Taylor and Morrison, who were forthright in saying that the Ukrainian aid was a quid pro quo in exchange for an investigation into Biden. Sondland now admits that by early September, he had become convinced that military aid and a White House meeting were conditioned on Ukraine committing to investigations into Trump’s political opponents.

Sondland updated his testimony to reflect that he had discussed the link between an investigation and a White House with Andriy Yermak, a top adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine during a Sept. 1 meeting between Vice President Mike Pence and Mr. Zelensky in Warsaw. Sondland also confirmed that President Zelensky discussed the suspension of aid directly with Pence.

Sondland also confirmed in his new testimony, he believed that withholding the aid was was conditioned on the investigations but was “ill-advised,” and that he did not know “when, why or by whom the aid was suspended.” This new testimony is Sondland’s way of explaining that the quid pro quo existed, but that it was not his idea. A month ago Sondland presented himself as a novice and unwitting observer to the actions of the Trump administration, but these new details confirm what we already knew from other’s testimony — that Sondland was quite aware of everything that was happening and a main player in the quid pro quo negotiations.
More testimony has been released. Donnies boy Sondland suddenly remembers a bunch of stuff he couldn't recall when he testified the other week. The aid was indeed dependent on dirt on the Bidens.

Of course it goes without saying, this is all pointless if no one decides to do anything about it.

For sure, he knows his ass is on the line. He's quoted as saying he wants it all to be over and return to his businesses.

They're going mad for this on US mainstream media.

Not the whole thing but its difficult to find an uncut version.

To be brutally honest, in the uncut version, I thought he did well. I dont agree with him but this show was an obvious setup.
