The Circus known as Press Day is going down right now.

Broncos are doing interviews first.

BBfanUSA 31-01-2014 02:29 PM

What Tim Tebow has been up to since he didn't have a contract.

The NFL is giving out their season awards tonight. They will be televised but Tape Delayed I think since they're coming out with some of the awards.

Offensive Rookie of the Year is Eddy Lacy RB Green Bay
Comeback is somehow Phillip Rivers QB San Diego...uh what did he comeback from?
No Word on MVP yet, but I'd imagine that it's Peyton.

He had been awful the past two years, esp. last year. This year (with the help of OC Ken Wishenhunt) he retooled himself and worked on the mechanics he had been missing in the past. Def. the comeback of the year

MTVN 02-02-2014 12:10 AM

Yep Manning MVP :smug:

BBfanUSA 02-02-2014 01:27 AM

5 Years (Not counting the year he was out with a neck injury) in a row.

I'm not watching the awards show tonight but they also announced this year's HoF class

It's starting to be people who I watched when I was younger
Micheal Strahan, Defensive End (Life has been going quite well for him, since he retired from the NFL, he's now a Fox pundit and presents a Morning Talk Show.)
Derrick Brooks, Linebacker
Ray Guy, Punter (First Punter to get into the hall of fame)
Claude Humphrey, Defensive End
Walter Jones, Offensive Tackle
Andre Reed, Wide Receiver
Aeneas Williams, Cornerback

No Coaches but Tony Dungy was a finalist. He'll surely get in though. I guess just not this year.

You have to receive 80% of the vote in order to be inducted.

Today's the big day, I predict Broncos 35 Seahawks 28 in OT

Brother Leon 02-02-2014 02:36 PM

I know it's on C4, but I will probably try find a hd American stream. Can't miss the commercials

Drew. 02-02-2014 02:44 PM

Fox pre game show starts at 7 on sky too

BBfanUSA 02-02-2014 04:32 PM

I'm excited for tonight.

One of Fox's Pundits, Terry Bradshaw is not going to be there today/tonight...lost his dad on Thursday.

Erin Andrews (The Sideline Reporter that talked to Sherman after the NFC Championship game), is working the Super Bowl but is on the Denver Sideline.

Ah how I love this team

Drew. 03-02-2014 03:14 AM

Now another stupidly long wait for the new season.. 1 bad thing about NFL is the long break

MTVN 03-02-2014 03:21 AM

Yeah that is the annoying thing, nothing exciting really till the draft in May

BBfanUSA 04-02-2014 11:57 AM

In The aftermath of the Super Bowl, Wilson is going to Baseball Spring Training. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the Rule 5 draft and he's going as a pitcher to motivate players old and young to win. (The Club in the last three years lost the world series twice. This could help them)

There's also a movie coming out in April that's is a docudrama about what happens behind the scenes on draft day in the US. Kevin Costner, Jennifer Garner, and Kevin Leary star in it. Aptly called Draft Day

BBfanUSA 10-02-2014 12:22 AM

Possible 1st round draft pick and SEC (Top College Football Conference) Denfensive Player of the year Micheal Sam has revealed that he's gay.

MTVN 10-02-2014 12:24 AM

Wow that's pretty big, he'll now become the first openly gay player currently in the league right?

Hopefully it's not held against him too much

BBfanUSA 10-02-2014 12:38 AM

Yeah at least being openly gay while activly playing. I think another former player came out a few years after he retired.

He came out to his college teammates this summer apparantly. And they supported him.

I don't know how most would accept it because it's still a little bit of taboo thing. I think former Vikings Punter Chris Kluwe is supportive of Gay Marriage though.

Do they sell Madden in the UK or did you have to get it shipped in?

Also this slipped by me sorry but the first 8 Thursday Night Football Games next year will be aired on CBS over here in the states with it's top commentary crew. So far this is experimentary because it's only for 2014 so far.

Even though CBS' Thursday nights are strong with Big Bang Theory, I think this should still double ratings.

Drew. 10-02-2014 01:01 AM

Of course  any game out on consoles is sold over here

BBfanUSA 10-02-2014 07:03 PM

I just didn't realize that Madden was sold over there. :P.

I said that wrong.

Drew. 10-02-2014 07:04 PM

It didnt arrive today :notimpressed:
