Revolutionary Road.

started out so brilliant...turned out to be a huge anti climax and just geenrally depressing. Still though, great cinematography and Kate and Leo were great as always <3

Twilight 04-05-2010 01:49 AM

Lovely Bones it was amazing, cried at the end though.

Vicky. 04-05-2010 01:55 AM

The truman show...brilliant :D

DrunkerThanMoses 04-05-2010 08:00 AM

Iron Man 2, jsut as bad as the first one, but probably a tad better only because Mrs Johanson is in it :)

Shaun 04-05-2010 12:48 PM

Grosse Pointe Blank.

It was a funny concept...without any actual humour. Very boring.

setanta 04-05-2010 06:54 PM

White Heat. Hey, the plot is hardly original and the direction passable enough, but I could watch Cagney act like this in any heap of shi%e. He's so fecking good in this flick.

Shaun 05-05-2010 01:03 AM

Dr. Strangelove (Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb)

Very dark and very funny movie, Kubrick is a genius.

DrunkerThanMoses 05-05-2010 07:24 AM

Pet Semtary... strangly it wasent that bad.

When I saw it at the cinema it was a pain in the ass...........to long to sit on uncomfortable seats!!!!! Also, the girl who took me was a pain and never going to become Mrs Claymores.

At Claymores games before start of match they played the "FREEEEDOM" speech every time on the big screens. Started off when we first played the England Monarchs just after release of the film.

teamandre 05-05-2010 11:54 AM

should have taken a cusion and a differnt girl or wathed it on your own then no one can piss you off and you can enjoy the fim

LOL - "never take our FREEEDOM" is the sound notification on PC and laptop when a new email arrives.

Back on topic - the remake of Bangkok Dangerous with Nic Cage

SammyAyee 05-05-2010 03:00 PM

disturbia.

Nobody's Fool. Always enjoy re-watching this little gem of a film, which is anchored by the great Paul Newman. Nothing really happens in it but it's just such a warm and gentle little flick.

2012

ugh what a pile of ****, I mean I understand it was a disaster flick and the emphasis was on the effects which were brilliant admittedly but they but so much concentration on the visuals that they completely forgot about the plot and it made for really uncaptivating viewing.

setanta 06-05-2010 05:07 PM

Iron Man 2. Favreau has really honed his skills in terms of the action set pieces and Robert Downey Jnr is so bloody watchable as Stark, but I'm not sure if it's on par with the first flick. Still though, entertaining enough.

Angus 06-05-2010 05:32 PM

The Orphan - a really good thriller
The Final Destination - a right pile of sh*t. Let's hope it's the last one

Law Abiding Citizen.

Riddiculous beyond belief, but entertaining nontheless.

It's one of those flake out films that you know you'll never watch again. Absolute rubbish really.

Law Abiding Citizen was THE mind-boggling film of 2009 for me. I knew it was pure garbage, yet I found it immensely entertaining.

Nah I loved it. Plenty of movies are dumb as a box of rocks and I could sit here pointint out every technical inconsistency but really it's job was to be entertaining and I was entertained.

It's not as if it's Schindlers List. That said I probably won't watch it again.

I got confused by that too, Surely in the middle there would have been no water getting in
